So I was just listening to the radio, and Three Days Grace's "Animal I Have Become" turned on. I know it would cost licensing money, but WWE has shown before that they like their nu-butt-rock.
Who else's music just failed to impress compared to other songs out?
Edit: Argh, forgot to say who it would work for. Obviously, the song would be a great fit for Batista.

When Edge was out with an injury, and Alter Bridge released their first album during his out-time, I knew he was going to be using one of their songs when he came back... I just didn't expect it to be Metalingus. I've always thought that Watch Your Words, especially the opening, would make a great entrance music for just about anybody.
Crimson King, by Demons & Wizards, has that sort of "intro" feel to it as well. I'd love to hear Sting use that, it's got that slightly gothic feel to the opening like he's used in those vignettes a while back, but then busts into some good solid metal.

Maybe not totally related but I've noticed with Carlito's heel turn he desperately needs a new entrance theme.
Something with a bit more edge....which shouldn't be that difficult to muster.

Yeah, originally he was the "Cool" guy so the cocky music was ok, they seem to be going with a more "intense" angle so it should be changed. For the life of me I don't know what to change it to. Another song I hate is Kennedy's. Except for the spoken parts by him, it's really forgettable.

Personally, I love Metalingus. The one entrance theme I find inappropriate is Samoa Joe's- he needs something more vicious, more fiery. The opening synthesizers keep reminding me of the "loser" piece from The Price Is Right.

Bobby Lashley's theme song should be "Bastard" by Motley Crue.

Bobby Lashley's theme song should be "Bastard" by Motley Crue. Or "Dangerous Bastard" by Love Fist.

Cena's entrance music is about the one part of his character I actually like (the intro is nice and the repeating trumpet part or whatever it is is catchy), but it doesn't really fit his gimmick anymore. Of course, that's because he doesn't HAVE a gimmick anymore.

I like most of the music nowadays. I feel that a lot of the TNA music is just cheap sounding. And I for one don't find Kennedy's music to be forgettable in the least. I love that song.
I think the only real change needed is Melina and Nitro's, as it's just annoying, and Carlito's needs some edge, as several posters mentioned.

They need to stop using nu-metal for everything. Nu-metal is dead. Get past it.

They need to stop using nu-metal for everything. Nu-metal is dead. Get past it. Go over to the "songs that would make good entrance themes" thread and you'll find a lot of people disagree. Personally, I'm with you. To the average, uninitiated, non-metal fan, it all sounds pretty much the same, and you want a wrestler's theme music to be distinctive.
