I searched to see if this was posted and didn't find anything, so here goes... And who's on this year's poster? The icon of ECW - Bobby Lashley! LOL! E C Dub? E C Dead is more like it.

Seriously, they should get rid of One Night Stand and bring back the King Of The Ring PPV.

I would like to add that I'd be more inclined to order this PPV if it was a 16-on-1 handicap match: Lashley v. rest of ECW, lol.

Seriously, they should get rid of One Night Stand and bring back the King Of The Ring PPV. Agreed! We need King Punk, or King Helms.

The last two One Night Stands were incredible PPVs. The WWE has destroyed that from ever happening again.

Whenever I go to BW3's for PPV's and there is an ECW match on the show and a table full of snot nosed 12 year olds kids starting freaking out screaming ECW!ECW!ECW! I want to kill myself.
This is a true story.

The Main-Event will probably be a JD rematch involving Cena vs Khali because THAT'S EXTREEEEME!

To make it super distasteful, at the end of the show, WWE higher ups will be throwing original ECW merchandise, videos, DVDs, memories etc into a big pile in the middle of the ring, then they will set it on fire.

If theyre holding it at Hammerstein again, I suspect the crowd would start the fire for them.

Maan, King Punk. That would be great. Not as great as King Helms If theyre holding it at Hammerstein again, I suspect the crowd would start the fire for them. But the location has been changed to Jacksonville, right?

But the location has been changed to Jacksonville, right? I would love either. As Jacksonville goes. It's not being build as ECW so it might not get alot of smarks so it shouldn't be a terrible reaction unless they do an Ironman Match between Cena and Khali.

Is this the one where Vince officially pisses on the grave or are they waiting until December for that?
This gets said too much these days but.... I was THE BIGGEST (probably not but it actually made like wrestling again) ECW mark when I found it in '96, and the crap theyve done from D2D to date has killed it for me.
I dont have to have flames or barbed wire or even the "originals" for the most part.... but a wrestling organization built with hybrid wrestlers and storylines that are based on competition under the ECW banner..... well.... that wouldnt suck.

Yes, ECW certainly needed to change, but in a way that separated it from the basic WWE. But what would that way be?

Yes, ECW certainly needed to change, but in a way that separated it from the basic WWE. But what would that way be? Its an old adage that bears repeating: SHUT UP AND WRESTLE. With Raw and SmackDown serving as the glitz shows and ECW the clear cut, set in stone, never needed to be anything more than #3 brand/ show.... a solid hour or two per week of basic competition based storylines that are far from being over the top, and serves as not much more than getting fresh/ less established faces some TV time against ring vets who arent exactly upper tier guys would be a decent starting point. A place where guys like Regal and Stevie Richards guide/ put on okay matches with guys like Elijah and Cor Von until theyre deemed ready to step up, a place where some journeymen like Scorpio or Test (for example only) get a very short (2 month)contrats to add variety to the show/ get another shot, a place where guys like Shelton Benjamin can put on 25 minute matches to kill time/ push themselves and less used talent. In the ECW I want.... well, we get a lot of the ECW of old.

Aren't you technically dating after the third "one night stand" or at least there's some kind of psychotic psychology to repeatedly having one night stands? Like clinging to something from the past or trying to rekindle something that's dead? I think someone needs psychiatric help to just move on.
