Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton in a Stretcher Match added as announced on ECW on Sci Fi. So that's how Rob's gonna end his WWE tenure, huh? Being carried out on a stretcher. Sigh. At least they're going to let him go down with a fight.

If RVD wins, I will laugh.
It'd be a great "Screw you" to the internet who "knows" he is going to lose.
Of course, with the storyline they have for the match, I think it does seem very likely that Randy wins.

not sure if anyones said this but I think it's interesting that ONS is a cross-brand ppv, yet the official website for it is under the ecw shows section, do they know it's a cross-brand ppv?

update on the up --This is the current One Night Stand line-up: *John Cena vs. Great Khali in a falls count anywhere match for the title with no submissions allowed *Edge vs. Batista in a cage match for the Smackdown title *Vince vs. Bobby Lashley in a street fight for the ECW title *Hardys vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin for Raw tag titles in a ladder match *Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam in a stretcher match *Melina vs. Candice Michelle in a non-title pudding match *C.M. Punk & Sandman & Tommy Dreamer vs. Elijah Burke & Marcus Cor Von & Matt Striker in a tables match *Kane vs. Mark Henry in a lumberjack match The scheduled but not official match with Chris Benoit vs. MVP was changed yesterday and replaced by Kane vs. Henry. As noted here on a regular basis, decisions change constantly, but as of TV last night, Benoit vs. MVP was pulled from the show
at least we didn't get RVD/Snitzky

You shouldn't have posted the Kane vs Henry match. That's a spoiler from this weeks Smackdown.

This PPV is shaping up very nicely...
If the World's Greatest Tag Team walks out with the gold it may even be DVD purchase worthy.

Is One Night Stand, WWE's version of the old WCW Uncensored PPVs. The theme is that every match on ONS is a gimmick match.

So, lemme think here. I know theytook "ECW" out of the name, but that WAS the original point, and the reason people bought it. So, are we getting any originals on this year's show at all? Granted, there are only five left, but even if it's just Stevie doing a weird "slide in the ring, then back out, wave, and run away" spot, that'd make me feel better.

As a side note : Sky are still billing this as an ECW-exclusive show, it's listed as "Live ECW Wrestling".

I really just want to see this for the Ladder Match, if WGTT wins it will easily be one of my top moments of the year Though I doubt they will

Preview from WrestlingObserver.com:
--Notes on One Night Stand tomorrow night:
*Cena vs. Khali for WWE title in a falls count anywhere, no submissions allowed - This seems to be build toward Cena winning with an FU. I expect they'll be given more time than they got two weeks ago, which was the shortest WWE PPV main event in a long time because they were scared shitless of the match without gimmicks. This time, with gimmicks, the belief is Cena will be able to keep it together.
*Edge vs. Batista for World title in a cage match - I can't imagine Edge losing, nor Batista losing clean. Mark Henry is the best bet to do something with Batista, but with the draft coming, all bets are off. Match was only okay two weeks ago (good last two minutes), and I think they need better than okay for this match to make this a strong card.
*Vince McMahon vs. Bobby Lashley for the ECW title in a street fight. Vince hasn't really done anything in the ring this entire program. Perhaps for one night his performance savvy will make up for the lack of physical ability on his size. On paper this isn't a good match, but they'll have every opportunity to use shortcuts here. I'm guessing even though the whole show is extreme rules, that the people on before this match will have things a little toned down to not burn out the crowd.
*Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton in a stretcher match. It's gone back-and-forth on two options here. Option 1: Orton wins and Van Dam is done after this match. Option 2: Swerve the smart fans who think they know, but RVD over, and have Orton demolish him on TV a week or two later.
*Hardys vs. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas for world tag titles in a ladder match
*Mark Henry vs. Kane in a lumberjack match. Their Smackdown match wasn't horrible, but it sure wasn't good and crowd didn't react to it. This is a difficult match.
*Melina vs. Candice Michelle in a non-title pudding match. Remember that week where they were going in the new direction with the Divas taking them classy?
*Tommy Dreamer & Sandman & C.M. Punk vs. Elijah Burke & Matt Striker & Marcus Cor Von in a tables match
This is a hard show to figure ahead of time. The only "sure thing" to me is Hardys vs. Benjamin & Haas will probably be excellent. Most of the other matches, on paper, don't look to be good. But it'll be a show filled with blood and brawling that can make up for a lot. Business-wise, the build-up for Cena-Khali and McMahon-Lashley has been good. Edge-Batista build-up hasn't done a thing for me. The biggest handicap from a business standpoint is coming two weeks after the last show, and also, that kind of suddenly, the promotion has gotten cold.
