...the harder they fall.
Steroids will do that to you, I guess.
It was refreshing to see Davey look like a wimp for a change this week, laid out by one spear...one EDGE spear...and not even a GOOD Edge spear.
Sort of makes up for being subjected to Flair hobbling around the ring with his walker yet again. OK, I'm sorry, I know the man deserves more respect than that. But he's fast losing respect in my estimation as he puts us through match after cringe-inducing match where we're expected to believe that he actually stands a popsicle's chance in Hades against guys less than half his age.

It doesn't matter how much he sucks. The kids will still cheer for Batista

ahem: being big doesn't make you good. being good makes you good. Yes, but the people who said this not only got fired, but then didn't even get invited back to TNA after their lone appearance there. Which is too bad, really. I miss the Heart Throbs o.o

Steroids? This guy? You're crazy. Also, Flair/Edge was good I thought. It had a slow, methodical pace. Ric is usually good under those circumstances.

Batista is 290 pounds of honest to goodness natural muscle.

ahem: being big doesn't make you good. being good makes you good. Yes, but remember, being big can make you BLARGtacular. But being BLARGtacular is something we've come to love, whether you want to admit it or not. Sure, Khali's matches suck, but they still draw me in. Why? Because I know it's gonna suck, but I want to see it for that reason. Batista, ugh. Batista has that level of suck as well, but the difference between Khali and Bats is that they know how to push Khali: as an unstoppable monster. Batista...well, all they do, is push him down our throats. I wouldn't mind seeing Batista...as long as he's not gunning for a title, like he has been for 3 years now. Seeing Khali in one or two PPV main events before shuffling back to the midcard is good. Allows for SOME variety in challengers. But Batista is ALWAYS in the title picture, whether he's champion or not. You could almost say the same for Cena, but at least Cena isn't as clumsy at Batista. I recall Batista gorilla pressing someone and throwing them over the top rope, and the throw and landing just seemed almost botched. He could have really hurt his opponent. The same package that you were pushing almost 20 years ago, Vinny Mac, isn't working on the fans nowadays. They aren't Hogan, they aren't Sid, they aren't, dare I say, the Warryah. WE WANT WRESTLING, NOT MUSCLEHEADED OAFS. All in all, the way they package Batista isn't working. The same can be said for Lashley, as a lot of people hate him for the EXACT SAME REASON. Shuffle them back to the midcard for a while and see more fans open up to them again. It's that simple. Push guys that can put on decent matches, like Carlito, and Masters, and Finlay, and Thorn, and everyone else that's just kinda wasting away on the lower cards. I hope the WWE spies on this post precisely.
