I hate the pick but after careful consideration...are they rewarding him for his devotion and loyalty to the business by putting him on RAW, the live show, the top show, for his last days in the ring? Kind of like they did with Flair...
I imagine he will be popular with the live crowd and have to wonder if this is a gesture by Vince we are overlooking.

we'll see his "reward" when he loses to Snitsky in 20 seconds this Monday, 30 seconds to UUUUUMAGA next Monday, and then the following weekend to Johnny Nitro on Heat

Or it's so he can be put on Heat and forgotten about

I don't know. To be honest, I can't think of anything for him to actually do on Raw. I see him just getting squashed in the midcard on a weekly basis.

That's probably part of it.
Also, Sandman can't really wrestle much anymore, so probably it's part of the "addition by subtraction" strategy for ECW.

Well, A-Train and Chuck Palumbo got drafted to Raw a few years ago via a draft like this, and they were Heat Bound and released.

I'd like to stay positive and think that they have some plan for Sandman on Raw seeing as the guy still gets a pop from the crowd, but I seriously just think he's going to Raw as a jobber. Especially with Viscera gone.

Sandman and Eugene. A wacky odd couple tag team that competes exclusively on Heat.

Sadly, I do see Sandman doing alot of jobs in the future. I honestly think alot of these guys are being brought to RAW to be overcome the odds fodder for Cena. However, Sandman could get involved in a feud with Orton, which might be fun.

If that were true, then Tommy would be there right beside him, since he's been as loyal to the business as Sandman, and has been with the company longer. I know you hate the guy, but is this incorrect?

RAW just took Davari so unless they plan to push him like they pushed Hassan and not back down I don'rt get what the smurf is going on with this. Londrick and Dyksta - GREAT PICKS. After that...meh...

Holly will get his shot because he's so far up McMahon's ass, and Kenny and Miz could be developed to be midcard talent, but won't get anywhere because of their size. I think the only reason they brought Londrick over is just so they can feud with the Hardys, and because they have the stronger tag division. But I wouldn't expect a lot of wins for them in the future.

Sandman IS ECW. This doesn't make sense to me, but I'm hoping for a push or at least give the guy a spot on the midcard to have garbage matches every week like in WCW.

Sandman is a reaction type of wrestler (if that makes any sense) He is kinda useless for matches & ECW was based on matches. On RAW he come out & do stuff besides wrestle & get his reactions.

I like Sandman's wrestling. Ok, well, he's not a refined wrestler, but he's entertaining as hell to watch. And despite being jobbed out, he's over.

Sandman's on Raw now? Where've I been? you're not the only one. what the hell is going on. guess i missed the draft. i'll go check to see what else is going on then i'll fully respond. Did you guys think about Sandman tagging with Cena for a couple of matches. Talk about bizarro world. You'd mark deep down inside though.
