Wonder if this will pan out, where vince survived but faked his death to protect himself from his attacker

How many websites have Vince's "death" covered?
If they wanted to take Vince's death seriously, they would not talk about how he treated people in kayfabe world. Remember when Eddie died? They never mentioned how he was trying to steal Rey's son. Also they would at least say that this is not a part of a storyline.

Especially if they're going to end the Mr. McMahon character with this storyline. That way Vince won't be looked in such a negative way by marks.

I read that searches for Vince Mcmahon and WWE have shot way up this on yahoo, so it looks like things could be working out

Also, if it goes where I think it's going, it's going to be a who-done-it angle, which I love. Well that was cool, cause it wasnt way too over the top. Its something someone might actually do, no ones gonna be blowing up someones car, that be some like nationwide thing...

I mentioned it in the 'disgust' thread; this is veering rapidly into downright lame. The press conference, the smackdown testimonials, the bells- lame, lame, lame
The explosion was funny. But so far everything else has me pretty bored.

I thought it was kind of lame when it happened and I'm not really comfortable with the doing the tributes as when someone really has died but I'm tired of arguing it. I would like to see a WWE Clue game made out of it. Brett did it in the kitchen with a knife! No Stone Cold did it in the study with a wrench!
My real dred at this point is what will TNA do because you know they won't be able to help themselves.

To me this whole angle was going to be in a no win situation with the tritubes. If they didn't people wouldn't take the story as seriously, and if they went those with these ten bell moments and all that people would be offended.
Personally I think they may know what their doing with this angle. Which I know is suppose to be a given, but hey... we're talking about WWE writers here. So really I'm very curious to see where this story goes. Even though personally I would've loved if they did SOMETHING to remind the younger fans "Hey, this isn't real... it's just an angle." Because you know this whole thing is making parents uncomfortable.

There's was no way they could top the explosion. Of course it was going to be lame. The only way they can improve is if Big steph gets so upset that she goes on the roof, falls down and pops back up because of those big moneymakers she has.

She would be flying through the air like superman if she landed on those things.

I'd like to imagine she has some pull cord in her armpit which when pulled turns them into floatation devices.
And if they showed that... I'm marking like theirs no tomorrow.

Do they expect to get new fans out of this storyline? My mom(a non-wrestling fan) watched the end of RAW and saw Vince's limo explode. And I don't think she is really interested in being a long time fan after that. I think I made it even worse when I told her that on their website, Vince was presumed dead.
The thing about this angle was that it may be unexpected and got the iwc talking but I just think it is kinda dumb.

I think I know where this is going.
Shane did it and will try to take over. stephanie and Linda will oppose. To raise money forr private investigator's and stuff, they'll sell ECW back to Heyman. The board of directors will try to make peace by giving Raw to one faction and Smackdown to the other. And MAybe that will be the end of the MR McMahon Character.

I wouldn't mind that really. As long as Heyman is not a heel.

i would love it if on monday, they discover that vince made a video will, and they play it on the big screen, and he talks about where his money and stuff is going, and then goes "...so linda gets the jet, stephanie and shane share the money, and hunter gets the kiss my ass club. now you're probably wondering who gets to inherit the company. well... *paul heyman's music plays*"
but i wonder how they're gonna do business now, seeing as vince is "dead"? is he just gonna avoid any business meetings outside of his own company or something?

Am I the only one still holding onto hope. I mean, the WWE only "presumes" he is dead. Maybe this the start of some new vignettes where a news reporter investigating Vince's death starts snooping around and someone tells the reporter "He's in Cleveland, definitely in Cleveland."

On the bells: Remember they taped SmackSide before Sherri died, so no disrepect intended, but they still gotta get outta that. On explosion: Even the Wilkes-Barre police have said it was taped the day before, with proper permits and the burnt remains simply towed to the arena. The local cops and firemen are tired of the calls to their stations.
Here's a new angle: With all the legit concerns about national security can even a joking reference to being a "federal investigator" be allowed? I espect the real government to put a stop to that kind of broadcast in a hurry.
