Now that the depth chart is in need of some tuning, I wonder if the WWE will add some money to the offer to get RVD to re-up.
CM Punk wins the ECW title, and what's this RVD in and Van Terminator hit on Punk.

Hopefully not. The guy's only capable of doing two things well: kicking people and overselling moves.

In a word, yes. I, however, am of the opinion that RVD has already re-upped his contract and is waiting in the wings for his suprising, triumphant return...

Yeah, but you've probably got some mic skills. RVD's promos are atrocious.

You know, I had this thought today as well. I was thinking about how WWE can move forward, what needs to be done to get people to stay and regenerate everyone....RVD is the first guy to come to mind. You just say, "Rob, we need you, we need you now. You can have what you want, but you need to start Tuesday."
Although, hiring back a wrestler busted for pot probably isn't a good idea right now. Please understand, I have nothing against pot and I believe the whole thing was blown out the water, however....it wouldn't look good.

i think rvd is still in the doghouse, but if he could step up and resurrect ecw, it might be enough to work. the wwe shouldn't ignore what rvd did, but should make it like a "last chance" type deal, if RVD cares enough to come back.

I have to admit.......I've been pretty ticked at RVD for a while for blowing his shot to get the "glass-ceiling" monkey that he'd griped about for years off of his back.
However, I couldn't agree more: if EVER they needed him, it's RIGHT NOW. In fact, now might be the time to start making nice with A LOT of people, if they don't want a certain Florida fed with no auspicious history of numerous deaths, arrests, and tragedies to swoop down on this opportunity.
I won't even call it LIKELY......but it would in no way surprise me if there have been some clandestine talks with RVD AND Jericho about coming back. Not only that.....I could see them considering a number of options for their smaller workers. Hey, if EVER you wanted to make Rey's title booking up to him, in the words of O-ren Ishii......
NOW's the f***ing time!!!!

Like it or not, I believe they need Sir Kicks-A-Lot now more than ever. Come back, RVD.

Like it or not, I believe they need Sir Kicks-A-Lot now more than ever. Come back, RVD. Or, ya know, they could just push someone more talented, more charismatic, and all around BETTER than RVD. I mean, you've got about 90% of the roster that meets all three qualifications.

I could understand how RVD could be a little burn out from wrestling and would want to get away for a while.

Yeah it be cool and weed aint nearly as bad as everyone acts, but the WWE would prolly get so much bad press from the dumbasses in the media talking about how "they hired back a drug user and put him in a title fued" and stuff...
