So, what do you think is going to happen with him? Do you think he'll disappear again now that he's made his obligatory appearance, or do you think he'll stick around for awhile?
Personally, I've always liked Foley, so I wouldn't mind if he stayed. But of course, there are a bunch of people that can't get over the fact that he's "prostituting" himself by making these appearances, even though his claim of never returning was made in the heat of the moment and said almost entirely out of emotion.
To me, it's not such a big deal that he comes back every once in awhile to wrestle, mostly because it's clear he's just a sometimer, so he's not exactly looking for a push. I mean, virtually every PPV match he's done during these returns, he's lost. For that matter, it might be every match - I can't remember him winning a single one.
But anyway, what do you think about his random book promotion appearances, and what do you think he'll do right now?

I think he may have a hardcore match with either Nitro or Umaga later on this year.

I think he needs to come out and kick the crap outta someone, it will be different and restore his credibility.

Foley has gone soft on us. I understand that he is "retired" or whatever, and has some tremendous ring rust. But I really am getting sick and tired of seeing him once or twice a year. Sure, he had a great match at ONS 2006 and Wrestlemania 22, but thinking of his other appearances (vs Carlito at Taboo Tuesday, Flair at SS) were pretty dull. I think it's time to hang it up for Foley.

He'll wrestle at Summerslam then disappear. This always happens. I haven't marked out for Foley appearances since 2003.

All I really hear when Foley cuts a promo nowadays is "I have a new book. Buy my book. Book book book."

I believe he's contractually obligated to wrestle on at least 3 or 4 pay-per-views a year. Hence, him being thrown into the Vengeance match out of the blue.

I wish he'd just retire from the ring. Be a manager, a writer, something else. He's shown an obvious talent for booking, let him do something behind the scenes.

Foley could make a decent creative guy. Not a full timer. He just shows up to meetings with ideas. Then returns a month later to ask what they did to his idea.
Foley: ...and that's how we could make Johnny Nitro a credible champion.
Gerwitz: That's brillant!
Steph: The most amazing thing I've ever heard!
Dusty: Now that's funky like a monkey!
*Foley smiles, gives a thumbs up and leaves*
*Two Months and numerous squashes...that don't go Nitro's way...later*
Foley: What is wrong with you people!
Gerwitz: We're creative. We have to keep people guessing!
Dusty: Like when we had RVD win even though his contract was about up!
Foley: Um...that got leaked.
Steph: $%^TY&!
Gerwitz: That's it! Rodman wins the World belt on Monday!
Steph: I love you.
Gerwitz: What?
Steph: Nothin.
Dusty: Monkey.
Foley: You guys suck.
*Foley leaves*
*Foley pulls out his cell phone*
Foley: Hi, Dave. Yeah. I got a scoop for you...

Wrestlemania 24 is minutes away from Disney World. Foley will be doing anything asked of him until then to try and make sure WWE comps his family's hotel room for a big Magic Kingdom getaway.

He has a lot of say as to what happens to him in WWE now. If you read "Hardcore Diaries," which I'm currently going through, he talks about how angles are born and his position in his storylines. You can see a real knack for the creative process through his writings. I think if him and Paul Heyman were on the creative team things would look a lot better right now.

I wish he'd do SOMETHING aside from being a wrestler, permanently. He's my favourite wrestler of all time but he disgraced himself somewhat at Vengeance. I wish he would come out to try and prove to Nitro what hardcore means at Summerslam or something, but get beaten and never return except perhaps as a manager. Or a booker! He clearly has a talent for it.

Yeah, I can't comprehend how the creative team expects people to take foley as a serious threat, when he loses all the time. It's not even close losses or being screwed out the title, he is defeated in every contest (see Umaga making a joke out of him on raw) leading to blow off match and then they expect the crowd to take foley seriously!?
