A personal favorite of mine. The Empty Arena match is such a unique setting and it was another great match in the Rock/Mankind series. This match also reminded me how great McMahon was on the mic. Love the part where Rock yelled at Foley "How about some beard, you fat ****!"

Yeah, this was a great match. I remember the year it aired, as my dad hates the Superbowl halftime shows and when he walked back to my room and saw I had it on and I explained it was just gonna air during the halftime, he turned it over too and watched it and enjoyed it and he hasn't watched wrestling since pre-Hogan, when he and my grandfather decided it was way too bogus.

An absolutely great match that gets all its energy killed off by that one stupid camera angle at the end. Foley was right. That thing really just shreds the whole feel of the match.

Yeah, that end camera angle sorta broke the illusion that this was "live," but screw it . The Match still kicks ass.
20 million people watched it, I believe.

Always a favorite, although Mankind looked silly walking around the arena with only one boot on. Kinda hard to take him seriously.

LOL....this is probably my favorite WWE Match at least the most enteratining Match...I recorded it when it first aired still pull it out form time to time and watch it....here's some famous quotes...
"5 Dollars For Cotton Candy...5 Dollars"
(The Rock Knocks Mankind Over into I believe a cart full glass or ceramic plates...Rock Starts To Sing as he grabs a bottle of Jack Daniels and you hear plates crashing the floor)

People have already mentioned this part but...they brawl out into the Cafeteria area and The Rock throws sauce into Mankind's Face and of course Mankind covres his eyes and face and screams "OOOOOOOW....It BURNS" but the funny part is right after Mankind screams and before Rock grabs the Chips the Rock says "What do we have here Retardy Sauce?" then he says the part about it being Mild...

Wow, I remember seeing brief parts of this match when it aired, but watching it in its entirety, that was just amazing. Really makes me appreciate those two even more now.
