WWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - April 24, 1989 (16,000) Televised on the MSG Network - included Tony Schiavone & Lord Alfred Hayes on commentary: Prime Time Wrestling - 6/12/89: Greg Valentine (w/ Jimmy Hart) pinned the Blue Blazer at 10:57 by catching him coming off the top rope and slamming him to the mat (Owen Hart's final MSG appearance for 3 and a half years) Hillbilly Jim defeated the Honkytonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart) via disqualification at the 24-second mark after Honky attacked Jim from behind with Hart's megaphone after Jim became distracted by Hart, with Honky & Hart then further attacking Jim before leaving ringside; after Hillbilly got to his feet, he grabbed the mic and said he didn't want that type of victory and challenged Honky to come back out and continue the match, but the challenge went unanswered Prime Time Wrestling - 10/30/89: Dino Bravo (w/ Jimmy Hart) pinned Hercules at 16:26 by sitting on Herc's chest and then holding onto the ropes for leverage; after the bout, Hercules applied the full nelson on Bravo Prime Time Wrestling - 5/8/89: Paul Roma pinned Boris Zhukov at 12:21 with a powerslam; after the bout, Hillbilly Jim returned to the ring and said he said he wanted to fight the Honkytonk Man anywhere he could get a match with him; later in the show, Howard Finkel announced a rematch had been signed for 5/8 at the Meadowlands Jake Roberts pinned Ted Dibiase (w/ Virgil) at 16:16 with a roll up as Dibiase played to the fans; after the bout, Dibiase & Virgil attacked Jake until they knocked him out of the ring, as Dibiase & Virgil then began to leave ringside, Jake pulled Virgil back inside the ring, where he was about to lay Damien across him, but Dibiase returned to ringside and pulled Virgil away before Jake could do anything (SuperTape) Mr. Perfect fought Bret Hart to a 20-minute time limit draw at 19:05; after the bout, Hart challenged Perfect to 5 more minutes, with the two briefly brawling until Hart sent his opponent to the floor The Bushwhackers defeated Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard at 10:02 when Butch pinned Anderson after Luke headbutted Anderson in the mid-section when he was attempting to powerslam Butch, with Butch falling on top for the pin Randy Savage (w/ Sensational Sherri) defeated WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan via count-out at 10:36 after Sherri jumped on Hogan's back to prevent him from reentering the ring, and Savage attacked Hogan from behind after Hogan he got Sherri off him and then quickly reentered the ring on the 9-count; after the bout, Sherri put the world title belt around Savage's waist and raised his hand in victory until Hogan snuck up behind them, rammed their heads together and reclaimed his title belt before chasing both from the ring
