Raw last Monday got me to think and I feel Cody Rhodes had a much better debut than Orton had and he looked legitimately cool. It also seems like they are soon going to have a feud with Cody/Randy. Also this feud seems to me that they want to put Cody over and make him a star. Also by doing this they'll kill Randy Orton and bury him further. I don't know if this good, but they have seem to lost all hope in Randy and might see Cody as the guy they wanted Orton to be. But basically do you think this feud will be a good thing or a bad thing?

It's a step down for Orton.

I'd say it would be a step down for Orton. Anything less than a WWE title push would be though.

I mean he feels like a midcarder to me and I don't see him getting better. His promos are so stilted and is not charismatic at all which a maineventer needs. In fact I see Lashley as a better min eventer, even though his voice is terrible he still seems more confident on the mic, Orton still sucks in that department after how many years? I want to like Orton because the Legend Killer gimmick was awesome and the RKO is really cool but he hasn't progressed since 2004 and in fact has gone backwards in my opinion.

Even if Randy doesn't deserve it, the WWE title is where his character has been heading to. If they started using him as the same thing his opponents were used for not too long ago, it'd be a big step back.
I think if Cody Rhodes were to come in and have a serious feud with Orton it'd be a push that we haven't seen since the likes of John Cena. A few promos are fine, that run should be enough to build him up for his matches when he starts up in the lower card.

You have spit in the face of the world. Randy Orton is not charismatic and bad on the mic? Have you watched RAW lately, dude? Randy Orton is OWNING HOUSE.

Orton sucks on the mic, he sounds like he's reading his lines off a cue card at least Lashley sound like he's trying and as Cody Rhodes goes he sounds really good on the mic something Orton has never done, sure he has his dad's lisp but whatever. Orton is the same song and dance for years with no change. f*** Randy Orton! He should have been fired years ago!

Is Dusty booker on Raw or Smackdown? I'd rather not see a case of nepotism.
And all things consider, is Cody any good?

I would hold off on this for now. Give Cody a match on TV to make us give a damn beyond the angle, then set it up if you want. Randy would need to win, but after a strong showing from Cody.

I think the whole point of this Dusty-Randy mini-feud is to introduce and put over Cody as somewhat legit for "the big leagues" meaning RAW. I would assume Orton destroys Dusty at GAB and Cody wows to avenge his father. They have a match eather on RAW or at Summerslam in which Cody puts on a good effort but gets nailed with the RKO at the verge of victory. After that Randy should move on to some kind of mainevent-level feud. Cody Rhodes will hopefully have been successfully introduced to the WWE-audience and continue to build from there..That's my take on it..
