Is it me or is there more effort being put into the intro music of wrestlers at the moment?
Not long ago it was all generic metal music but now it seems to be more fine tuned to the wrestler, as shown by the newer guys ...
Santino Marella maybe the worst IC title holder in a long while but his theme music fits him and is quite good with it's Italian opera style tones.
Big Daddy V's music fits well as we hear what could be an emergency radio warning over a beat. Get out of his way this goliath is coming to the ring!
Snitsky - He may have been revamped a while back but his new music sounds menacing and almost psychopathic in style, which fits him.
The Major Borthers - The young rookies are new so there music although a generic rock track features lyrics saying 'Let's Go!' Which I think adds to there stylings.

I think Marella's theme is atrocious and John Morrison's is somehow worse than Johnny Nitro's.
Most themes to me sound way too generic. I still can't identify Lashley's theme from sound alone. In general, it's getting better though.

John Morrison must have new music comming. Sometimes they give a wrestler generic music while the new song is being produced. Look at evolution. Their music started off as an instrumental version of what it later became before they had Moterhead record it.
I hope John Morrison gets new music at least.

The best theme music in WWE today. By the way, what's with the sped up version of D & D's theme? anyone know where to find a normal speed version of it?

Actually I've been noticing that TNA's is better than I originally thought. I love Abyss's theme at the moment, and Christian Cage's.

So TNA's music is only getting better cause they're ripping off better songs Eh, it's still getting better. I'd be pissed, but WCW did the exact same thing.

But they have been better at giving people music that actually fits the character...
Though I Dislike Nitro[/] Morrison's current new music... I hope its the original version they usually use... like when Billy Gunn's was just I'm an Ass Man, repeated constantly...
Also I like the Santino Opera Music...

How do TNA get away with sampling songs like that? Or do they pay for the rights?

How do TNA get away with sampling songs like that? Or do they pay for the rights? Lots of groups get away with "ripoffs". They'd have to pay if they used the real tune, or if the artists got pissed, but I HIGHLY doubt any of them will get angry. Hell, remember DDP using "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and Jericho's WCW ripoff of "Evenflow"?

Especially with the way music is at the moment with illegal downloads etc.
