OK, yeah, we get it, he injures legendary wrestlers. The longer they keep this going the more they call attention to how silly this actually is. They could at least come up with different ways for him to hurt people instead of the identical formulaic skull-punt every time.
It's been all downhill in terms of credibility of said legendary opponents since he dented HBK, anyway. I mean, Sgt. Slaughter? What's next, they bring out Superstar Billy Graham and have Randy kick him out of his wheelchair?
If they have him concuss Hogan, I'll mark. Otherwise, give it a rest already.

Maybe I'm confusing him with somebody else, I thought I had read that he's in a wheelchair now because of old injuries...some sort of fracas at an art museum involving his wheelchair being too high. Sound familiar to anyone? The point is that Orton doesn't come off looking like a badass when he lays out 60-ish guys who haven't been in a ring on a regular basis in a decade or more. Edit: superstarbillygraham.net/record.htmlI was wrong, it wasn't injuries.

Where are we in professional wrestling when kicking someone as hard as possible in the head, usually a shot at the temple, is considered something weak?
I like what they're doing with this. They're having these kicks mean a lot so that when bigger moves happen, they become more special. Back in the day, a guy like Dick Murdoch would sell a punch like crazy.

I like what they're doing with this. They're having these kicks mean a lot so that when bigger moves happen, they become more special. But they aren't. Bigger moves now look smaller because Orton can put a guy of action indefinitely with his magic toes of doom. But I'm not even complaining about the kicks per se, I'm complaining about the exact same thing happening over and over with opponents of increasingly questionable credibility. I mean, they might as well do a video package of him knocking down random elderly people on the street and then kicking them.

A lot of the older wrestlers are getting put out with 1 severe kick to the head after long careers with injuries, where as younger guys like Rob Van Dam and Shawn Michaels get put out with multiple shots. I think it adds to the drama when Orton does it, because he usually sizes up who he's going to do it to. Plus when it's shown of what he's done to people, people know it's coming, and when it's established, it can be countered and stuff and get pops from the crowd.

Plus, kicking old people in the face makes him look like a super-prick. I'm not tired of it at all. And it's working a lot better than a full nelson the Masterlock.

I love it. Orton is one of my favorite people in WWE even though my top markings don't have him on it... I haven't had time to update it.

"Anyone else tired of seeing Randy kick people?"
Nope, not me. I love how he really is becoming such a maniacal asshole (on television) as of late. I think it's working pretty well, and I even get a kick out of how Lawler and Ross try to make it seem as devastating as it possibly can be. Too bad he didn't kick Cena tonight, that would've made an already cool show even better for me.
