Packed with matches, minimum of backstages silliness.
Most of the matches were pretty solid.
A few nice surprises.
I was pretty entertained for the entire two hours- that's my qualifications, I'm not that exacting.
Pretty damned good lil show this week.

This show was random and insane.
I really enjoyed it.

If it was like this every week I'd never complain about it. Awesome show.

Carlito might actually get over from that big, big win tonight. Cryme Tyme and Umaga were awesome, Orton's looking like a killer, and Cena's actually looking vulnerable for the first time in like a year. That was 2 hours I'd gladly relive again.

Great RAW. It leaves me worried for our survival but, great nonetheless.

Agreed. Since WWE can't really do anything remotely controversial now that they're pretty much under constant scrutiny, all they can do is focus on wrestling. Which is exactly what they've needed to do for ages it seems. By just simplifying storylines as they have, a much greater emphasis will be placed on a performer's ability to actually be a good wrestler and entertainer. If they can only keep this up...

Best part is how they interwove all the angles and had most guys facing someone other than their main opponent. Good booking.

Exactly, I hate it when it's just the top 2 or 3 faces against the top 2 or 3 heels leadin' into a PPV. It's refreshing to see Cena/Carlito, Orton/Sarge, Kennedy/Lashley and Umaga do his thing instead of Cena/Lashley/Hardy vs. Orton/Kennedy/Carlito. EDIT: CARLITO WON? AMAZING! Something must of happened this weekend. He must have some good dirt on VKM to go from wallowing in the midcard to beatin' John frickin' Cena in the span of a week. Good for Carlito!

Even tho I ragged about a few things (Booker dying), I look at it this way, I WATCHED it more than I posted about it.
That's a really good sign.

did I watch a completely different Raw then the rest?
a 6-woman diva match not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE matches involving straight up jobbers an auction that took far too long and came off as really annoying a main event conclusion that will lead to Orton pinning Carlito at Summerslam to win the title (so Cena will still look invincible)
and no mention of the tag-team champs, WGTT, Londrick, or Jeff Hardy throughout the entire show
based on all the above I felt this Raw was extremely underwhelming

I loved seeing Umaga come out and squash Santino again. Booker's interview was fun. Carlito beating Cena and spitting on him was great. JR got some names of people and moves wrong though. However, he did some good work hyping Lawler/Booker.

Just one thing instead of Orton running up he should had just stayed at the table. Then just have Cena look at him and then Carlito hits the finisher gets the win. That makes Carlito look better.

The way it is, Carlito looks good because he won, Cena loses, sure, but it was because Orton rushed him, and Orton costs Cena the match in perfect heel fashion. Having Cena just randomly get distracted doesn't make Carlito look any better, Carlito looked as good as he was going to unless the match was a squash. You way, it just makes Cena look worse, which is bad when he's supposed to be main eventing Summerslam.

Doesn't Cena always job to Carlito to build his match for Summerslam? I remember Jericho helping Carlito get the duke over Cena as they built to Summerslam, and I vaguely remember Edge costing Cena a match en route to Summerslam last year.

this looks like some old nwa booking, letting the heel win over the face...wow, what a concept.
