#1 watched cable show on television = The Closer. Mondays at 9 p.m. TNT #1 most hyped new cable show on television = Saving Grace Mondays at 10 p.m. TNT
This is why I believe the ratings are dipping (I admit to watching The Closer instead of Raw, but I record Raw on another tv so it all works out)

The WWE needs to invest in some market research...seriously I just did one 2 weeks ago about SportsCenter on ESPN, and their ratings have also hit a slump. I think it's time the WWE started listening to it's fans...marks AND smarks.

I think it's time the WWE started listening to it's fans...marks AND smarks. Market Research would be an excellent option for WWE. When Eric Bischoff was running WCW in 1996, he invested in it and it made his product better.

I doubt WWE would ever do that...they give us what they think we should like...or atleast have since the MNW ended

Its still real.... nevermind Well, the lowest rating RAW has gotten has been a 1.8, which I think is about the number of people like the above.....people that will watch NO MATTER WHAT. But WWE can't survive on those people alone......they NEED those mainstream viewers, and as this 2.5 shows....a lot of them are ceasing to watch....and that could prove DISASTEROUS for WWE.

They should try writing better quality material.
That might work.

Still no word on ECW's ratings. Daggone it.
Right now...my TNA obsessed friend has given me a riot act of TNA dominance. If he continues, it will not end well for him.

the mother says this is one of the biggest vacation weeks of the year. Might have something to do with it, perhaps... It might. I just came home from fishing on monday. I don't know because since this is the lowest ratings in ten years, ratings should have been this low every summer. Did Raw ever get a ratings this low because of some event such as football, holiday or postponement? I wonder what made 1.0 worth of fans to not tune in today. Raw was pretty normal in the past few weeks.

it would suck for ECW to have a dip below 1.0 especially considering how entertaining the shows have been here lately

This is a real shame because Raw was getting the 4.0s earlier this year.

At the end of the day, won't the WWE still be making truckloads of cash anyway? -.-

So which scapegoat is Vince going to blame this on?
Paul Heyman isn't around, so someone else will have to take the blame this time.

At the end of the day, won't the WWE still be making truckloads of cash anyway? -.- Yes, but with no network to broadcast on, or on one that is very upset with the ratings and the product, it spells death.
