update: "Lashley had complained to the agents because he was not happy with how his character was being booked over the last few weeks. He wanted to be a heel, not a face. WWE kept changing their minds. They had Lashley spear Cena. Lashley got booed for it. But then they told Lashley he was not turning heel. Lashley hated being in a limbo state. Lashley had wanted to complain to Vince but Vince had bigger things to worry about. As of this posting on August 1st, the severity of Lashley's injury is currently unknown. If it is indeed a torn rotator cuff, it could keep Lashley out of action for up to six months" Source: Wrestling Observer "You say you're the writers of WWE and you won't let me be heel, I say you're the writers of WWE, and you're all bathturds!"

That update sounds so much like they have sensationalised minor things. Maybe he gave his opinion on his character to a road agent, and got a reply something along the lines of 'Sorry Bobby, you're still face for now'. Maybe he didn't complain, and maybe he hasn't been throwing hissy fits. Having a character in limbo is never nice, but I'm sure the WWE told him why they were doing it, and he probably accepted. Maybe he didn't like the fact that while he was still getting decent reactions, he would obviosly be getting medicore ones in comparison to Cena during the feud, and maybe thought he could have got more heat as a heel, which is understandable.
All the 'facts' reported don't actually seem like nuclear heat worthy as far as I can tell.

True that, fact is these stories that we get go through number of different sources so everyone has had their own word into it. How you could look at this is, Bobby Lashley disagreed with the management...big deal nothing came off of it
