I guess that quad tear made things even worse. At least, HHH cares about the business more than Hogan, who is today, all about money and nothing more.

Even funnier is that HHH has 50 times less charisma than Hogan, never had a better "look", and is barely more entertaining in the ring (and, whether he's actually "more entertaining" in the ring is debatable to most).

And that's why, HHH had to bust his ass more in the ring and his matches are rated *** or more (according to Meltzer). What was Hogan's highest-rated match by Meltz?

So yes they do pay the bills

Only to the smarks they're a big deal, the casual fan couldn't give a damn about it.

So yes they do pay the bills I think I wrote it wrong, I could admit that. I guess I was thinking about the ECW fans as I watching the "Rise and Fall of ECW" earlier, where they'd get pissed when one of their faves would be leaving for a bigger promotion and claimed he "sold out".

Such as HHH matches

Triple H is so overated. He works a very boring style and has failed to give his opponents enough offense on many times. Since coming back in 02 he's been a very sub-par in ring performer IMO. I mean I felt like his (post quad injury) matches with Booker, Van Dam, Benoit, and Jericho were all very dissapointing due to him dominating the matches as if he was Vader or some shit. His matches with Shawn Michaels often went way too long and weren't very good either. Other than the late 05 feud with Flair, I don't really remember the last good thing Trips did. His work with Batista wasn't bad, but Undertaker had way better matches with him. Triple H is very overrated in the ring and on the mic too. People say he's got mic skills but I remember in 03 and 04 being bored as hell with every promo he had. It's whatever though, atleast he's not as bad as HBK.

That was neither funny nor interesting, I don't know what the point of this thread is, and that article is over six years old.

Because that's just plain ignorant.

Not that I wouldn't believe such news, but is there any background into how the Observer was saying that, or is all we're gonna get that little blurb?

And that's why, HHH had to bust his ass more in the ring and his matches are rated *** or more (according to Meltzer). What was Hogan's highest-rated match by Meltz? Did I miss the memo? Is Meltzer's opinion the official measuring stick of what qualifies as a good match in wrestling nowadays? That's news to me. I never understood the "star" fascination with wrestling fans. Five star, four star, 3 and a quarter star.....who bloody cares? Either you liked a match or you didn't. Is anyone going to like a match less because Meltzer rated it lower? I hope not. I also don't understand the point of this thread, but at least I'm not alone.

Is this just about Triple H beating Jeff Hardy for the IC title?

Only to the smarks they're a big deal, the casual fan couldn't give a damn about it. To further add to that, I'm not sure the casual fan could even pick out what is a 5 star match by Observer Standards.
