It's a shame they never touched upon his allegiance to Cobra in any storylines.

I like it exept 2 things:
-the body is of the the early 2000 Joes. not the new sexy 2007 bodies.
-the hell is up with that helmet?

Roddy Piper? I never followed G. I. Joe so I don't know what to think. Was he ever part of the series? I remember Slaughter being in there and even the Fridge, but Piper?

Basically they are saying he's a trainer for Destro's personal army The Iron Grenadiers. It doen't really fit in anywhere in either the cartoon, which Destro's personal army never appeared in, and has been over for some time, and it does not really fit in anywhere in the comic books either as Destro has relinquished his entire arms making company and private army in exchange for his infant son.

20 years too late IMO. I definitely would have sent away for that back in 1986 or so.

You know who will kick Piper's ass? This guy: OK seriously, what the *&^% is this crap. As both a wrestling and a Joe fan, I hate this.

I had Big Boa. Oh man, I have a tupperware container about 2 feet be three feet full of GI Joes (opened) from my childhood. This Rowdy Roddy Piper figure... I WANT!! He'd look so amusing next to Sergeant Slaughter. For some reason though, I was always a big fan of the B.A.T. figures and variations. But for some reason, I always loved my Range Viper figure and he became (alternately) the 'hero' or uber-villain when I played with him. www.yojoe.com/action/90/rangeviper.shtml

If you send money in, could you be made an honorary Iron Grenadier?
