As mentioned in previous polls in this case I am defining "deserved" as what they should have been giving as a result of their overall talent including: ring work, mic skills, name value etc. Also as one poster asked this should be taken from the point that the performer in question is performing for a top tier company (ie. WWE, WCW in the 90s, etc)

IC belt was a perfect fit for him.
He had the skills for a main event run, but never the fighting spirit.

He should have been one of those people like Chris Jericho, Edge, Jeff Jarrett and RVD that held the Intercontinental Championship 5 or 6 times.

I could have seen him being an upper midcard guy who gets an eventual short run with the World Title. So I voted World title holder. I don't think he was ever a guy you could build your company around, but he was/is very solid, and can work a good match.

Upper-Midcard (IC/US) at best. He has the skills, but I just could never see him as a World Champ.

IC belt was more than appropriate. That's as far as a Pornstar wrestler should get.
Comedy gimmicks should not get past a IC title level, and not in an 80s IC reign either.

Wow, people actually voted for a world title reign? Haha.

He was fine for an IC champ, but nothing higher than that. He was tailor made for the attitude era-a wrestler to shock and be controversial, but he could only go so far with that gimmick, and Chief Morley was not the next logical step, it's been downhill ever since

I think with the right backing he could be World champ. If JBL can do it, why not Val?

World Title? This is why Vince is the best.

I think it is possible that he could have been world champ material if he could have been used correctly.

I do not. It's Val Venis. I mean, c'mom. You can't build your company around a former porn star. Plus he was never that good. At best he was I-C material a decade ago for about fifteen minutes.

I think it is possible that he could have been world champ material if he could have been used correctly. With a porn star gimmick, that would have been a tall feat, but yeah. He had the talent and charisma, IMO. But the gimmick killed that chance. But how is being a sold mid-card gimmick wrestler such a bad thing? He's still employed, and likely will be for quite awhile. He's willing to put anyone over, and can get a good match out of anyone. That's hard to find, in any era, and don't be surprised to see Val as an agent once his in-ring days are behind him. A man could do a heck of a lot worse.

World title. Maybe not as a porn star, but as a veteran fighter, looking for one last shot...

I don't think he would've won a world title with the porn star gimmick. But he was one of my favorite mid-carders back in the attitude era, the guy was entertaining and had some solid matches. He does an awesome job of putting people over.
