Cena said two or three guys already have been fired from violating the wellness policy three times. I'm pretty sure one is Joey Mercury, who's the other(s)? Mercury and Dupree, most likely. Maybe Ryan Reeves from OVW(He was released in January, with about 20-something others).

Firing would be bad. Say they were to fire Orton, then TNA picks him up. Say that cycle continues...then TNA has Angle, Joe, Christian, AJ, Orton, Kennedy, Umaga and WWE has Cena, Hunter and new to the Main Event: Kenny! Yeah, WWE would die quick. TNA would die quicker. They couldn't afford all that star power, as much as they would try.

TNA is under investigation too, you will not see any of the WWE suspendeds or fireds (whatever happens) there any time soon. They're being investigated as well.
The congressional thing applies to all pro wrestling, not just WWE. I doubt Dixie will shoot herself in the foot and hire those guys right after they got outed big time.
Its a witch-hunt of the whole industry.

I have no idea, but WWE and TNA most definitely are, ROH is really small compared to those two, but Im sure they'll feel ripples depending on what comes out of them. I would imagine if anything they'll set Federal standards on doping for all of pro wrestling that every fed will have to follow.

all i can say is that Raw wont be as crippled as everyone thinks. We have HBK returning and he and HHH can have a huge fued that can really carry Raw during it's weaker moments while the others are on suspension. Also this will be a good opportunity to get some mid-cards up and try them out for a main event status

WWE attorny said last night on Fox that 9 were first time offenses so 30 days off and one was a 2nd offense so 60 days off. as far as suspending their top stars or firing them. I would say yes they will, they have no choice in the matter any more. If they are now making names public in Nov. I would say Vince has just served notice saying no one will be protected

I would imagine if anything they'll set Federal standards on doping for all of pro wrestling that every fed will have to follow. Congress won't do anything but create good press for their constituencies about how they are tough on drugs. Congress has no business whatsoever regulating pro sports and just trot them out to look powerful and get some headlines. Even for the slim cases made for regulating baseball, football and basketball, the same arguements can't be made for prowrestling. So I doubt anything will happen to organization who doesn't have a TV deal. So this will all blow over by this time next year and any outed wrestlers can work where they want and can get hired.

Correct, Congress has no power over WWE to do anything, unlike baseball, basketball, and football, where Congress could strip away their tax-exempt status.

It would be hard to justify keeping some of the main event talent on if they're outted as being steroid purchasers. It should be an interesting Raw/SD/ECW coming up to see who've mysteriously vanished

Firing him would not be so bad, what does TNA get a large amount of rest holds and Vince Russo to mess up his storyline.

This is going to sound silly but, when they say suspension does that mean they are off the road for 30-60 days or is their pay just docked for that period of time? Because I remember Randy Orton just getting a pay docking.

Orton was off for around 30 days shortly after WM22. I guess he is the one gone for 60 days.

But did Rodimer fail a bunch of drug tests before they released him? I don't remember seeing it reported and he's not on the Gerweck list, so who knows. Right now, it looks like only Mercury, Reeves, Dupree, Angle, and Test may have been released because of failed drug tests.

Because I remember Randy Orton just getting a pay docking. That was the pre-Benoit policy. As we saw with Jeff Hardy's recent suspension, its now a "real" suspension. No TV and no money. Matt really surprised me, but then I remembered that he was off-tv for a while in '06.
