why would they bring up colt? Because they could be starting to do what they did after the first steroids trial. That is making the smaller guys bigger stars. Damn soon, the WWE will in all likelihood be moving towards smaller guys. Because the hammer is about to fall on them, and they've got to clean up the mess as much as they can, as fast as they can.

To pick up from the other board, I dont care how much "better" ROH's roster is, they are NOWHERE near dethroning WWE as #1 organization in America, not even smurfing close. Anyway, this could be the best thing to happen to WWE, being forced to push their younger, smaller talent. It opened doors for Bret, Shawn, Owen, Perfect etc....We could see a boom period coming soon, but this is prolly just me being optimistic lol Who said at all that ROH's roster was the best star wise? There's noway in hell the Ring of Honor roster is even 10% as popular as half the WWE roster. All I'm saying is that wrestling wise, ROH smokes WWE out of the water for ME. Some dude (with an AmDrag sig) said that in the original thread.

Man, Punk has fallen into a great situation here for himself.
I was saying he should have been made a face of the company back when it all started. He can talk, not sound like a complete tool while doing so and is rather reliable.
I'm positive he's now getting the ECW Title, maybe if they are pissed of enough at Morrison they'll pull an Orlando Jordan with him.

WWE News WWE News: WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt speaks on suspensions, says more may come
Aug 30, 2007, 21:12 Email This Article - Printer Friendly Page - Back to Main Listing Greta Van Susteren interviewed WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt tonight on her "On the Record" program on Fox News Channel.
McDevitt talked about meeting with investigators regarding Signature Pharmacy clients who were contracted WWE performers. McDevitt said they told Albany, N.Y. authorities that if they confimed the information, they would act on it. Once confirming the shipments, Vince McMahon acted on it. Van Susteren asked if the wrestlers would be suspended without pay. McDevitt said that's the case.
McDevitt said there may be two more suspensions tomorrow. He said they have to talk with the talents to confirm information first.
He said that talent has been told the will be publicly identified in the future. "It's a fair notice issue to us," he said, regarding why they aren't revealing names today of those suspended. "We do that in the belief that it will give greater transparency to the program and hopefully operate as a deterent to anybody who wishes to engage in this activity."
McDevitt said this is not just a WWE problem. He said Signature Pharmacy was sending drugs to policemen, firemen, and pro athletes. He said he heard the NFL would be coming out with an announcement in the next few days. He said, "What you're going to find is that the drug of choice, if you will, for any athlete who wants to avoid a drug testing policy is human growth hormone which there is no test for. And it's a problem all leagues have, it's a problem we have, it's a problem anybody has who is engaged in drug testing. There's no scientific method to detect when an athete takes human growth hormone."
Possibly 2 more stars suspended tommarow...let the speculation begin...AGAIN!

I don't see why they don't just announce who they suspend, I mean it's going to be pretty evident once some regulars stop appearing on TV.

Probably not like the above mentioned HBK, Hart swing because 30 days isn't that long. 15-20 years? where does that come from?

Okay lets address the elephant in the room.
How bad off is the wrestling industry now? 10 WWE Superstars, several main event names, are suspended. 4 or 5 more been speculated about.
Add that to the heap 'o crap that TNA has become, including the big red gapping whole in Dixie Carter's purse just bleeding money.
Add that to the numerous deaths this year and all the bad publicity and controversy the industry has dealt with.
Add the upcoming congressional hearings.
Just how screwed is the industry right now, not just the WWE, but the whole industry?

Now Punk can job to the Miz or Kevin Thorn! Why would he job to EVIL MIZ or Kevin Thorn? Punk is pretty much getting the belt. Kinda crazy how the only way he FINALLY gets the belt is after one guy kills people and the other takes steroids. CM Punk wins ECW Title with straight edge lifestyle!

I can see all the suspended people and Vince Russo leaving their companies to create 'Ring of Glory 2.0'. 'OHMGAZ! MR. KENNEDY HAS HOLD OF THE 'MONEY IN THE CROSS!' OH MY GODZ! HE JUST BEAT UMAGA FOR THE TITLE SHOT! THE HEAVYWEIGHT FAITH CHAMPION FUNAKI BETTER WATCH OUT!'
