The writing staff must hate having to do so much work this year Yeah, if you call what they're doing "work". The writing staff gets a bad rap in my opinion..even if you dont like the storylines right now, to suggest that all they do is sit around and jerk around is crazy. They do the same work as TV and Movie writers do, granted its more glamorous then most Jobs in the country, still they have to put in alot of thinking...I always wanted to say this so its not like my rant was directed toward u

It wasn't really directed at a storyline thing I was just saying sometimes they don't seem to put enough thought into things and now with wrestlers getting hurt or suspended they have to do more work they do sometimes show flashes of brilliance though.

Ok here is the biggest deal from the PWI audio:
This weekend at the TV tapings, WWE is working under the plan that everyone who needs an explanation to get off TV will be given one. And the lesser names will just disappear for awhile like Jeff Hardy did last month. There is only one pretty much concrete thing Dave heard yesterday and it's in quotes below. Read at your own spoilery riskz.
[/spoiler]
He said Vince McMahon is trying his best to keep a stiff upper lip and in a way no sell all this right now, though he is obviously as concerned as everyone else backstage is. Dave talked to around 10 active talents last night and they all give the same impression that the locker room is genuinely freaked out as a whole about what's going on.
So basically, this weekend's tapings are going to be very much worth following.

I don't know how they're going to manage on Raw. They're gonna lose some of the biggest talents, including the guy who's in the top feud (Orton).

You're not referring to me are you? Because I never defended Kennedy in any of those earlier threads. In fact, that was my first post ever regarding Kennedy ever on these boards. No, Kennedy made a blog a while back criticizing Meltzer and other's for getting in the WWE's business. He then went onto whine about several things regarding the situation. Then everyone on here applauded for him taking a stand. And really, his statement had more crap in it than a pigpen. Really I hope he learns to keep his mouth shut, at least in the real world. Okay. I thought you were referring to me on the previous page that's all. I am extremely careful when it comes to defending any wrestlers on the issue of steroids. I don't know these people personally. Like many of you, all we know about them is what we see on TV and, in rare cases, in interviews. It only scratches the surface of who this person really is and not who he's pretending to be for the cameras and their fans. I think as wrestling fans, we need to separate the two because, using Kennedy's case if the allegations are true, he really made a fool of himself and incidentally burned a lot of his supporters who believed him.

The one thing that makes me a little nervous about this is the loss of privacy that American citizens have. I am not sticking up for the ten wrestlers on this "list" as they should be suspended if they in fact violated the policy. However, the reason it is hard to catch these vilations is because of the privacy laws as it relates to medical records. They made the wrestlers names public without even thinking about the privacy implications. I for one don't want my medical records to become public material due to the governments crusade to eliminate steroids from athletic competition.

One thing that's bothering me in all of this: if those people that bought the steroids and other stuff did it and used them after the Wellness Policy was in place, why didn't the drug testings detect anything?

I thought the same thing as well. The thing about the Wellness Policy is that it's a random testing. If you don't get selected, you may not be tested for months. And of course, within a matter of months you can do a cycle. But I know I'd personally wouldn't take the chance.

If they are using Growth Hormones, they won't be detected on any drug test. It's not scientifically possible.
So, they could've been using them for years without anyone knowing.

This is correct to a point. HGH can be detected using blood tests. I am not very familar with WWE's testing, so I do not know if they stick with urine or get the needle out as well.
