Do any of yall like, wish you didnt know what you did about wrestling?
Like I got some friends who arent like big marks, they know its fake and they know that just like every other entertainment industry its got its bad stuff going on, but they dont really know about the dark side of wrestling too much. The pills, beer, whatever. They dont really know too much about this dark cloud that surronds wrestling and sometimes I wonder if it would be better to have that ignorance.
But really I dont think I would. Its cool to be aware, and really, at the end of the day I still enjoy wrestling just as much, if not more then them, and dont think about the bad stuff TOO much...

Yup 100% It's one of those bridges once crossed you can never look back, ad ya it sucks ass not knowing there's a difference between the KAYFABE reality and the real reality.

I wish I didn't check spoilers. I also wish I never, ever had contact with fans of indy and japanese wrestling.

I think it makes me a bigger fan knowing all that I do honestly. It shows I care enough to actually look around for this stuff instead of accepting whats thrown in front of me by WWE and not just taking it as it but knowing why stuff happens the way it does and where it's going.
do I sometimes wish I didn't know all I did? yes of course but once you cross it you can't go back. there are some things you find out about and rather not know like an individuals personal issues because it not only can change you opinion of them as a worker, but also a person.

If I had stayed a complete mark, I would've stopped watching wrestling altogether in 2000 and never come back.
But once I started learning about things, I found a lot of it fascinating, and probably enjoy wrestling more thoroughly now than I ever did before. Basically, I found the stuff that appealed to me because I learned about the industry.

I like all the backstage info and other things.
(I should try and avoid the spoilers but I just can't help myself)

sometimes. but the marks that i know can't have a conversation past "elijah burke shouldn't be ecw champion because hes black." thats why i love this place. my fangirliness is also far more accepted here than the outside world.

Yes I do. I hate that 90% of the time, I end up accidentally reading spoilers and so surprise returns aren't surprises any more. I miss those days when I was younger when a comeback meant something.
