Just thought I'd reminisce on some of my favorite on-air blunders;
SNME 1989: Hogan breaks character before the camera is cut showing that he was indeed fake-crying for Elizabeth.
Flair cuts a pretaped promo against Piper after the RR. However the production team screws up by showing Piper's graphic in the background and it switches about 4 times.
WMVIII: Hogan drops the legdrop on Sid, which was supposed to end after Papa Shango does a run-in but misses his cue resulting in Sid kicking out of the "mightiest move" in wrestling.
WMIX: Michaels and Tatanka are feuding over the IC title, after Michaels goes to the outside, he comes back in and Tatanka attempts to pin him about a minute later, however the ref says Michaels was counted out (so why wasn't this said before he got back in the ring?)
Shockmaster makes his debut, by landing on his face.
Nitro 199?: Elizabeth tries to handcuff Hogan to the ring, however has trouble doing it and after a few minutes, Hogan helps her handcuff himself.
IYH 14 1997: Mankind has trouble lighting a fireball, so his opponent the Undertaker decides to help him.
Thunder 1998: Jericho gets locked outside of the building and when he attempts to open a "locked" door, it opens. However since it wasn't suppose to open, he quickly closes it and starts hammering on the door to be let inside. Someone inside thought he was locked out and opens another door several feet away and tries to let Jericho in, but Jericho pretends not to see him. His opponent Wrath decides to ambush him after waiting and he begins to chase Jericho around, however before the scene is cut, Jericho and Wrath break character, turn around and start walking back to the building together.
Halloween Havoc 1998: Hogan repeatedly has trouble lighting a fireball to throw at Warrior, resulting in some of the most awkward waiting by Warrior ever seen in wrestling.
Raw 1999: Acolytes vs. New Age Outlaws. The ring falls apart which provides humorous results by using the turnbuckles as weapons.
Uncensored 1999: Hogan and Flair have a first blood match for control of WCW. Despite the fact that Flair is supposed to win, he cuts his head open on the cage. To save the match, Hogan blades himself and they switch it to a pinfall match. The announcers are incredibly confused.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan's 4X4 in WCW would dent everytime he hit someone.
No Way Out 2001: Rock hits Angle with a devestating Rock Bottom which Angle sells like mad. Rock covers him and Hebner (not even looking at Angle's shoulders) counts to 2, despite Angle not moving a goddamn inch.
The Rock is cutting a promo of Stephanie McMahon where he is "supposed" to say the F word, but Steph was supposed to interupt him before he said it. However Steph, misses her cue and Rock just runs with it and says it anyways.
Smackdown 2003: Hogan severely screws up a promo and ends up calling himself gay among other things.
Raw 2003: Jackie Gayda "reveals" more of herself to the Raw audience.
Raw 2004: A visibly shaken Rock decides to try to get the California fans back on his side by complimenting how great their marijuana is. The announce team doesn't know how to react to this.
Raw 2004: Orton flubs his lines by mixing up the World heavyweight title and the World tag team titles.
Post some of the ones that you remember!
Note: This isn't a list of blown spots/botches, so Sid's leg or Austin's broken neck don't count.
