I'd be so paranoid to watch Sid's matches again after that leg fracture.

Thank god long shot is being applied to this news. We already have a crappy big man that cuts horrible promos. His name is Snitsky.

Snitsky + SID = Psycho fued and then psycho tag team (or vice versa). I think it would rock.

I'd love to Sid come back in a bodyguard role. I don't think I want to see him as a FT wrestler again though. I don't want to see what happen at WCW Sin again.

Sid, a former member of a tag team known as the Skyscrapers. In order to look at a Skyscraper, you have to look up. "Things are looking up"...I don't like where that's going.
Seriously, I hope Sid does return just for the trainwreck/entertainingly horrible promos aspect. Also, a thread in the Ask RD and Blade forum recently mentioned that RD Jr's birthday is coming up, and it would make a nice birthday gift for WWE to provide for his future by ensuring that RD has more Sid material to sell books with (the coverage of Sid's 2000 run being the best part of the Death of WCW book, hands down).

Any Sid is good Sid. He'll be over as hell no matter what. If you bring him in and have him manage the undefeated Snitsky they'll be ready for a main event push.

i read somewhere (not on raja.com) that the main problem is that before Sid returns, he should succeed the drug test and he has already told the WWE officials that he's sure to fail because he's not clean.

Sounds like Johnny Ace wants to make it up to Sid by giving him one last run that doesn't end with a hideous bodily injury. Good for him.
And us. Sid returning would be neat.

The man is always in shape and wherever he goes is majorly over. I don't see what any negatives would be in bringing in the guy for a short term run.

The fact that, except for about a brief 2 year period in the late 80's, he's always sucked as a wrestler, and as a promo guy, he's only slightly worse than the Warrior? Honestly, why are people letting nostalgia color their perceptions of talent?

Honestly, why are people letting nostalgia color their perceptions of talent? I always knew what he was saying which is why it was funny... I never had a damn clue what Warrior said, which makes Sid a zillion times better... Besides, Sid isn't really a crazed lunatic... He just played one well... Warrior really is batshit crazy. Also... In the early face run he had in McMahonland, he was super over... He didn't have to talk... He was getting more popular than Hogan... Just watch the unedited ending to the 1992 Rumble... When Sid bundles out Hogan, the crowd went bonkers.
