I've been to many WWE events in the Times Union Center(formally Pepsi Arena/Knickerbocker Arena) and almost at every event in Albany it feels more like an ROH or an old school ECW show than a WWE, I mean excluding at the Hammerstein I've never seen people hate on wrestlers like at TUC, I mean they violently booed video packages of Cena and not to forget New Years Revolution where the fans looked on near riot mode after Cena won the Elimination Chamber the fans. Also I don't know why but we generally get huge things happen here in Albany like Ric Flair winning the Royal Rumble to win his first WWE Title, Angle winning his first WWE T itle at No Mercy and Edge shocking the world at NYR by cashing in his MITB and beating Cena. Anyway my point is I think Albany, NY is probaly the most smarky small city in the US.

True they did chant for Batista, but I think Albany do respect him and really honestly how could people boo Batista he not really hatable, but man if Cena was on Smackdown it would have gotten ugly.

Almost all the shows that I have been to have been in Albany and I don't remember any real smarky reactions.
However, it's been about a year since I was last there, so things may have changed.

From living here, I can assure you, this city has it's fair share of marks.
We just have the distinction of turning the tide in the We've Cena Nuff movement, for what's that's worth.
I think ROH should give it a looksee at running a show at the Armory here. I think they could pull as good of a door as they did with Manhattan Massacre 2.

Yeah I totally agree except I'd run it out of the Washington Ave Armory because it looks way cooler and it's smaller, but still decent sized and I can't see ROH selling the TUC. edit-whoops didn't see that you wrote that but for others here is a pic of the Armory.

My parents moved just outside of Albany last year and when I went to visit them over Christmas, my dad took me to a Raw house show. The crowd was not very smarkish at all, except for the love of Val Venis.

I have a great deal more respect for Cena than I do for Batista, because Cena is at least a decent person. That seems to be pretty typical of most smarks from what I've seen around this board.

The December 26th house show last year maybe the greatest show i ever saw. The crowd was hot, we saw Youmanga vs. Cena for the WWE title, DX and Flair vs. RKO and "The Dyke" (who got pedigreed on a chair later after the stip was No DQ), Fatal-Four-Way Ladder match for the IC title between Jeff Hardy, Nitro, Benjamin, and Carlito, Mickie James vs. Victoria, and heck, even saw Cryme Time and Cade and Murdoch in the opener! I love that show, especially since I got WM X-Seven on DVD for free (gift cards) earlier in the day.
And I did chant 'TNA' at least once during the night.

Yeah, they were running a ton of events there, mostly concerts, but lately it seems like they're not running as much stuff there now. I went to an MXW show there that was really decent. Got to see a ton of people for the first time, including Max Boyer, Hero, Claudio (AYYYYYYYY!!!), Larry Sweeney, Eddie Kingston, and the Heartbreakers (even though they weren't teaming that night). I think it'd make a great venue for ROH, but since it's got bleacher seating, it probably wouldn't sell out.

Yeah i really wanted to go to that show but I was down state for Christmas, I was really digging the whole Umaga/Cena feud and Rated RKO/DX. Man just typing that made me miss how good WWE was just a few months ago, now it's almost all trash except ECW.
