Last weekend I was round a friends house and pointed out that leadsinger of the Ramones, Joey Ramone was about 6 foot 8 I then ended that bit of trivia with "thats the same height as Test"
my friend then spent the next half hour taking the piss out of me for knowing Tests exact height pointing out "I bet Test doesen't even know his own height"
anyone else able to top this?

I always get pelters whenever I explain that I remember that the state capital of Texas is Austin because Stone Cold is from Texas.
Ha - but when all those fools write Dallas on their pub quiz answer sheets who gets the last laugh?

its not that bad someone in the States shot someone after a heated arguement over the exact height of James Brown.

Picture it: 1997, maybe 98. I was smoking a cigar w/ two non-wrestling fans. One asked "what is up w/ all these people wearing Austin 3:16 shirts, what the hell does that mean?" I said "it comes from the 96 king of the ring tourney, where stone cold steve austin beat jake the snake roberts in the finals to be crowned king of the ring. During the interview Stone Cold stated "you talk about thumpin yer bible, and talking about bible verses like John 3:16, WELL AUSTIN 3:16 SAYS I JUST WHIPPE YOUR ASS!" They made fun of me for quite a while for not only watching wrestling but knowing everything about it as well.

The man that founded the state of Texas (or something as important) was named Stephen Austin. Whether or not that is why stoen cold made his name that, I do not know.

I know that Darren's Drozdov's finisher in the WWF was known as the New Jersey Naptime. I'd say that's pretty random. On that note, Pete Gas' finisher was the Gas Mask. The learning one can do by playing WWF/E video games. |
