I don't care about backstage politics, personally. Most of it is just hearsay to begin with (unless confirmed), and fact is, politics go on in every business. I mentioned this in another thread, but can you really blame wrestlers for looking out for themselves? This is a business with no benefits of any kind. No medical, no dental, no pension, no retirement, etc. The top stars get the most money. Look at the situation from the wrestler's point of view, and you'll realize they are exactly like the rest of us. I don't care about Joe Schmo in my department. If I have to step over him to better my financial career, I'd do it. Everyone else would too. That's life. Well then you're a selfish prick who has a lot of bad karma coming his way. Enjoy the promotion and that fancy new car...but be careful you don't wrap it around a telephone pole or something. Karma has a way of doing that. Just ask Earl.

The only thing i'm interested in, is to know the name of the guy that had his ass visited by JBL's finger. The Black Scorpion.

Yes, but you're not dealing with Rhodes Scholars here, you're dealing with pro wrestlers. Some of them can be quite neanderthal. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that JBL is most certainly not a neanderthal, unless he's like Oog from ATHF. Hog-tieing a naked man in the shower and threatening to rape him isn't the act of a neanderthal?

I was more pointing to the fact that a neanderthal would not have the know-how (or is it luck?) to play the stock market. Thereby I'm saying JBL is smurfed up in the head.

You say that you'll walk over anyone to get ahead in life, but when someone tells you that's the actions of a prick and brings about bad karma, you think it's harsh and flaming. Uh....no. [/Tomko]

[/Tomko] I guess we both can get a laugh out of each other as I was thinking the same about you to be quite honest. That's how it is in life, at my job I'm only worried about myself and putting money in my pocket, as Scott Hall once said "I have friends, now I want to make money", nothing prickish about that at all. To each their own.

Life's not about livign for yourself, it's about living for others. Makes perfect sense you're such a fan of Hogan.

You don't know anything about me to make any comments like that. You're absolutely right, it's about living for others, for my family, that's why I want to make that money so I can help them out. But thanks for taking what I said out of context.

The mentality is so ingrained in you that it's impossible for you to be objective. That's what selfish is. Only caring about yourself and your own opinions.

That's your opinion on it, at the workplace I'm not concerned with anyone other than myself so I could put money in my pocket, I don't have to be chummy-chums with everyone and I'm well-off as far as friends go, and if I'm using the money I attain in work to help my family it's far from selfish.

It's funny that you're spending so much time at work posting on a wrestling discussion board. I like the idea of all the other people you've stepped on now passing you on the corporate ladder because I've got you distracted. ;D

I'll enjoy my car, my house, my food, and the fact that my family is taken care of. So will the other 99% of the population who would do the same thing if put in that position. If you want to classify that as the act of a "selfish prick", that's up to you. It's called reality. When you finally get out of your parent's basement and actually start to work, that might start to sink in.

It's just like a person who employs that mentality to try to soothe their conscience by telling themselves that everyone else is doing it. Uh...no, they're not. And one day you'll see that. And it'll be a very hard day for you.
