- I guess this angle worked because I sat glued to my seat watching RAW out of curiousity of who would be named Vince's bastard son. - I can not describe the disappointed experienced with the announcement of Hornswaggle. - I was leaning towards JBL before the announcement. He could be a great heel to run a program with HHH, if they revealed HHH was Vince's son inlaw. I'd heard JBL was considering a short comeback anyway, and with him only doing a short comeback it would give an easy way to end the father son connection. - Hornswaggle (I guess he is a "Little Bastard" after all) is a complete waste. It was a one time funny laugh at McMahon's expense, and I don't see where this can go at all. Maybe I'm wrong but what a crap ending
Seems he's saying what alot of others are saying. WWE dropped the ball on this one. they could have sold tickets, instead they sold us a bunch of shit

Yeah, I don't really see the longevity. Besides making people watch until it was revealed what else will it do?

Yeah, I don't really see the longevity. Besides making people watch until it was revealed what else will it do? It's just a transition until Kennedy comes back in 3 weeks. We'll get comedy skits that are funny for those 3 weeks, and when Kennedy comes back it will all go back to Kennedy/HHH/Vince somehow. Hornswoggle will probably be written out as he isn't the 'real son', or Vince hates him, so he throws Hornswoggle out of the family.

I don't get what people think was so bad. I mean it was obvious Kennedy was going to be it till he F'd up. Who would you rather see as Vince's son? Khali? Batista? Of course it wasn't the best decision but it's far from WWE's biggest screw up. When it fails, we will forget it. Or maybe it's all a swerve?

They could have given it to someone like Finlay and have him feud with Trips

Once again
Why does anybody think it's 100% necessary that in order to be cemented as a main eventer somebody'd have to be labelled as a "Lost McMahon"?

Short run, yes. Long run, No. Big angles like that build legacies...... It's not necessary but it would help in the big picture It would smurf anyone who got into the McMahon angle EXCEPT Kennedy. Seeing as Kennedy was really the only one tailor made to pick up the 'legacy' and all that. Anyone else would get the stigma as the 'fake son' for the rest of their careers. Do you want to see CM Punk be Christopher McMahon Punk for the rest of his career, or would you like him to get written out and buried months after the angle gets dry?

I don't see how it could help Kennedy more then Punk or a credible midcarder If you push the guy correctly then this angle would be nothing but win

Agreed but even with Mr. Kennedy there could always be a bad stigma that results with him.

And later on if it bombs, they could say the woman was lying and it would be all forgetten except for the Gooker 07 award. And with Hornswoggle, no offense but he's already a joke character so it doesn't hurt him as much as it would a guy like Punk or any other guy.
