From wwe.com:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After the events of Unforgiven, WWE Champion John Cena will kick off Raw tonight when it emanates from the “Musical Capital of the World.” The Champ will undoubtedly have something to say about his father giving Randy Orton a taste of his own medicine last night and his upcoming Last Man Standing Match against the Legend Killer at No Mercy.
At Unforgiven, Cena was disqualified in his championship match when he refused to stop pummeling Orton in the corner. When the Legend Killer grabbed the elder Cena out of his ringside seat and prepared to re-enact his previous attack where he gave him a concussion, the WWE Champion pounced and locked Orton in an STFU. Cena’s father then gave Orton a dose of his own medicine by punting him in the skull.
An outraged Coachman immediately signed Orton and Cena to a Last Man Standing Match for the title at No Mercy on Oct. 7. But with The Champ kicking off Raw tonight, the fireworks could start early. Be sure to catch Raw live on USA Network at 9/8 CT.

So is the Jeff Hardy/Shelton Benjamin match the beginning of a Shelton push?
No, I'm not saying he's going to win, but there is a chance that WWE could develop a gimmick for him tonight.
I mean, after Unforgiven, I think it's rather obvious that they need to find ways to get the crowd to care about people. Having good matches doesn't cut it as the Londrick/Caddock match proved.

Shelton needs a clean win so badly against someone worthwhile.

Is the HHH/Carliton feud continuing? doesn't a feud require that both men get the better of each other at some point?

doesn't a feud require that both men get the better of each other at some point? Carlito gets the advantage when Coach makes stipulations that hinder Triple H He should, but then HHH makes Carlito look even weaker by getting the best of him anyway.

RAW is in Nashville, TNA's backyard. This ought to be good.

Except for the fact that a large majority of the fans that go to the Impact Zone are WWE fans, some of which bring replica titles with them to PPVs and get more attention from fans than the video that was playing on the screen at the time.
