Around the waist, gives the title more credibility.

I always liked the Bret Hart over-the-shoulder look.

I voted for the good ol swinging. You never see that much.
But a close second is around the waste. It's a BELT. That's where it goes. Plus it shows the title some sort of respect.

it really depends on the person...
I always thought Hogan doing the guitar was cool and so was the Dudleys with it around their necks.
But just for general I guess around the waist or holding it in your hand. For interviews over the shoulder works best.

Maybe if somebody does a bondage gimmick in the future and wins a belt, they should have the belt around the waist and trapping their hands.
Then again, I don't see a bondage gimmick getting over to the point where they would win a belt (disregarding the Bashams).

I'm big into the shoulder carry myself, although the teeth grab is growing on me.

I like the way one of the Briscoes wears his belt around his neck. Never figure out which one because of the hoodie, he has a bandana over his face, and the belt covers it

Other: DIdn't Lance Storm wear them where he hooked two titles together and wore them like a sash, Worf style?

Other: DIdn't Lance Storm wear them where he hooked two titles together and wore them like a sash, Worf style? Well, I know that he would do one where he would have a belt around his waist, then one over each shoulder, but he might have done what you were talking about.

I went with other. I love it when people do crazy stuff with it like drag it to the ring or wear it backwards or upside down or around their neck.

I personally love the way King Booker carried around the World Heavyweight title. He'd just hold it in one arm folded up. It made it look so dignified in an arrogant way. I think CM Punk did the same with the ROH title a few times when he was ROH World Champion, too.
Otherwise, I agree with everyone who said "Over the shoulder for promos/around the waist for a match."

The coolest and most prestigious way is around the waist. Disrespectful any other way.

I always loved the Way The Macho Man carried the Intercontinental Championship to the ring. I dont remember him ever wearing it around his waist.

Depends on the holder, I suppose. Obviously, Yokozuna wasn't going to put it on. Hell, they should've given him Andre's massive belt.
Over the shoulder is cool for interviews, around the waist for title matches, and from the mouth or pants if it fits the character. "Cool rebels" would be more likely to drag the belt, rather than hold it, or have it around their necks.
I would absolutely love if Kennedy won the belt, and they lowered it down with his mic.

If they did that with Kennedy, I would mark every time I saw it.
