- Despite internet reports that had TNA drawing 7,000 fans for the 6/3 house show at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum (which holds 18,000) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, TNA only drew about 2,500 fans at the event, with around 2,000 paid. WWE has routinely sold out the building in the past.
- With Scott Steiner out of the picture for the 6/17 Slammiversay PPV, TNA is considering replacing Scott with another wrestler to team up with his brother Rick against Team 3D.
- Booker Dutch Mantel was adamant that people remain with Scott Steiner for his surgery in Puerto Rico. Jeremy Borash, Abyss, and Jeff Jarrett remained in Puerto Rico to be with Steiner during the surgery.
- Reports have Jeff Jarrett totally immersing himself in wrestling, following the recent passing of his wife Jill.
- Referee Earl Hebner recently missed a television taping due to his wife suffering a stroke.
- Slick Johnson has quit TNA as he has accepted a full-time job outside of the business.
Gerweck.net who most likely got it from Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
So...TNA plans to bait & switch over the Steiners ordeal. That may hurt them. I hope Scott gets better soon, same with Earl's wife.
...
...
Oh, one more thing:
Slick Johnson has fled from TNA! TNA is dying!

This worries me. I mean, I know different people deal with stuff like this in different ways, but it just doesn't seem healthy to me to completely throw yourself into your work following the death of a loved one.

I guess this is Jeff's way of dealing with the loss of his wife. I feel sorry for him. Maybe TNA should just call off the Team 3D and Steiners match then since Scott can't compete. Well that explains why I haven't seen Slick on TV lately.

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought. But, if it helps Jarrett get through, I'm all for it.

I don't know. I think it's the most a TNA house show has done since the first one. Don't quote me, though. But this report makes it sound like they paid 2,000 of 2,500 to be there. Am I misreading it?

Am I misreading it? Yeah, you read it wrong. They drew 2,500 fans to the show. 2,000 of those fans paid their own money to be there. The rest got in free.

Hope it's not too serious and he gets well soon
- Slick Johnson has quit TNA as he has accepted a full-time job outside of the business.
Was he the ref that wore shorts? That was odd.

I agree but at the same time, it's been Jeff's life for like, 20 years. Its all he really knows. For him, it's probably him trying to get back to normalcy

I still think it will be Animal taking Scott Steiner's place...
So we'd have Animal and Rick Steiner
That could be entertaining if it just becomes an all out brawl.
Bah if only Knobbs wasn't crippled I would have loved to have seen the Nasty Boys/Dudleyz in a street fight

If they DO need a partner for Rick...well...Tatanka could use a paycheck.

If they DO need a partner for Rick...well...Tatanka could use a paycheck. Oh man for real, I miss the hell outta Tatanka. Dude would be an awesome addition to TNA. He's already better than 90% of the roster. I would love to see him doing a gimmick where he randomly appears out of nowhere and chops the you-know-what out of someone and then does a rain-dance and leaves.

Rick Steiner: Will you team with me? Tomko: No.
Oh yeah, and I'm glad to hear that Slick is gone. His overselling of everything that went on in the ring pissed me off as it distracted from what the performers were doing
