Please finally give Joe the belt Sunday. That is all I want to see. I have a history of hating the guy and think he's the most overrated wrestler on the planet but if TNA is ever going to right the course, they need to put the belt on Joe. Or Styles. Anything less is further proof TNA is just going to continue to suck week in and week out.
Please put the belt on Joe. Please. That's all I want to see.

Somehow, the belt will go to a former WWE or WCW headliner. That, or somehow Tomko will win it without being in the match. He will fall into the ladder and the belt will fly into the air, looping itself around a hook, and he will win.

I would like it much more if Styles wins it than Joe, but I would say Joe would be my second choice. They will most likely put the belt on Angle or Christian, since they draw much more since they were in WWE. If they were to put the belt on Styles or Joe, it would help them establish themselves as being different. They just want to put the belt on ex-WWE stars, and, just like Lance Storm said, they are the new WCW.

Meh, Joe winning the title would mean nothing to me now. TNA just got too crap. Yeah, pretty much. The best time to have put the belt on him would of been Bound For Glory 2006, or a ppv or two before that. If Joe wins the belt now it really won't mean that much too me.

Joe's been so stagnant lately it wouldn't matter nearly as much lately I have to agree, I think last year was the time,IMO, but I do hope he gets it. We already had Christian, Angle, and I dunno who else in that match as champions, Joe should get a run at least.

I think AJ should be the very first TNA world champion.
But I will be happy if Joe's the first to hold TNA's new belt.

We already had Christian, Angle, and I dunno who else in that match as champions, Joe should get a run at least. Agreed on both points. I hope he gets it, but compared to last year around this time he was so over it was unreal, it won't mean much of anything. But as a huge fan of Joe's, absolutely want to see it. And I notice looking at the line up, that there is a "mystery man" who will be #5. I haven't watched the shows in months so I don't know if any hints were dropped as to who it will be, but if this becomes the "Jarrett's wife died so let's give him ANOTHER f***ING TITLE RUN for the big sympathy moment" match, then the main complaint that everyone has always had about TNA will be proven once again. It's the Jeff Jarrett show, always has been the JJ show, and always will be the JJ show. I really hope it isn't him. I'm as sorry as any fan that his wife passed away, but my opinion on him as a wrestler stays the same. Never want to see him holding the title again.

5th guy has to be Abyss.
I mean, watch this past iMPACT and see that he'll probably be the 5th member. Although I agree about Jarrett. Yeah, sorry about you're wife dying dude, but don't go all JARRETTSPOLATION!~ on us.

I don't mind anyone winning this one; just about all the participants (sans the mystery 5th man, obviously) are OK by me. Plenty of interesting possibilities for any of them.
I've said this before, but when Joe does eventually win the belt, I hope it's in a one on one match, preferrably at Bound For Glory with plenty of build up.

This is one thing I think TNA has done great. They are making people beg for a Joe title win, so when it finally happens it will be a big thing.

AJ's had at least two chance with the NWA title ( I know I know, this was before the TNA world belt) and people didn't really give a crap. Jarrett is partly to blame for that, but let's face it, AJ can be a bit of a black hole in the charisma department.
