TNA is having a "new concept" match in which all three TNA titles will being on the line at next month's Victory Road PPV in July. The TNA Heavyweight champion will team with the X Division champion against the TNA tag champions, with the person getting the win capturing the championship of the person he defeats at the Victory Road PPV in July. As of the results of last nights iMPACT! on Spike TV, World Champion Kurt Angle & X Division Champion Samoa Joe are scheduled to wrestle tag team champions Team 3D.
Anyways, the rumor going around which is posted in detail on the TNAWrestlingNews.com website is that Jeff Jarrett will somehow get involved in this match, and be the winner in the end. He currently doesn't hold a TNA belt, but there is still another set of iMPACT! tapings to be taped in two weeks, so he may capture one on that night and thus be able to participate in the PPV match. If the rumor turns out to be true, he'll be holding two belts at once.

Believe it when I see it. But with the history of him and title belts in the company, I won't put it past them. I don't buy it for now, but if it turns out to be true,

(If true) So they'll take the title off Lethal and yet JARRET gets in the main event?

Don't buy it. It's TNA Wrestling News, so why should I?
That said, I WOULD dig a Jarrett/Young Tag Title run.

I don't think they'll do something like this, as the last thing this company needs is Jarrett as the champion again.

I wouldn't mind him in the TAG title scene if he's got a decent partner, and stays away from the World and X titles....

Would this be the same kind of rumour about his world title belt when he returned a couple of months back? Or the same one about him winning KOTm at slammiversary(which a lot of people here jumped on as they're jumping on this)? He is in no state mentally to be back in the ring, as he said at slammiversary, and I don't think we will see him for a while yet.

I don't think so. If you watch his interview he did. He doesn't look to be back in the very near future or on the next PPV.

I don't think this is true. Why would Jarrett get involved with this? He's not even a part of the whole Angle/Joe storyline.

It's not like it's far off, Joe already qualified and it's doubtful Angle will lose to Christian/Rhino, unless Jarrett and Young beat Team 3D in a few weeks time, I don't see him getting involved, but you never know.

I refer back to my original statement. Jed Shaffer ~Dude just lost his wife to cancer, and admitted on TV that he wasn't ready. I don't think he's gonna double back.

Watch Jarrett show up as "TNA Impact TV Champion" which he won in a mysterious tournment in Albuquerque ala Dusty.

WHAT IF............Jarrett and Young won the tag titles and then ERIC FREAKING YOUNG pinned KURT ANGLE and won the TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! That would be quite the breaking of Jim Cornette's glass ceiling!

I know I'm not the only one who noticed that this "new concept" match isn't new at all.
