1.2 good rating i mean ufc gets similar ratings and it has tons of shows on spike yet tna only on twice a week on spike and gets ratings near ufc is that not impressive to you?

That's more impressive than beating a wrestling recap show, which is on early in the morning at an hour I couldn't even tell you. Please use punctuation.

Beating A.M. RAW means absolutely nothing. Barely anybody watches that show because it's on at a late hour and it's only a recap show of what most fans have already seen.
What TNA need to do is stop focusing on other promotions and concentrate on their own. WWE doesn't care what you do, unless you're doing well and posing a threat. Also, they need to seriously consider getting most of their workers on written contracts to secure their services and getting higher ratings (At least 1.5 - 1.6 by the end of 2007). But, that's easier said than done.

Dude, nobody here wants to hear anything about TNA growth. It conflicts with the commonly held belief that TNA is going out of business any day now.....

Man, don't use the term "TNA" and "growth" in the same sentence.... we already squashed one proposed cancer storyline... if Russo hears this, suddenly we have a tumor on a pole match.

You guys are really maing a lot out of a 1.2 rating! A freakin 1.2! Big deal they beat a late night/early morning replay of highlights from Monday Night Raw. Big deal. And they don't even beat that on a consistent basis. And for the record, Sunday Night Heat at its apex, which is what you all say Impact is at now, drew MUCH higher than a 1. f***in2! What will you do in a week when the rating is back down to a .8?

TNA is a five year old company that already has a better roster and a better in-ring product than the decades old corporation. So if anyone should be embarrassed....

If we actually... ya know... got to SEE the in ring product these days. I've always had a soft spot for TNA, and I've been watching it for like 3 years, but damn.

That's your opinion and you have a right to it, but WWE has been putting on MOTY candidates on free TV such as HBK/Cena, Orton/Edge, Hardy/Kennedy and others. TNA barely has the time to do such things, just when you're getting into the main event, they take that long commercial break and come back around 9:57 and then it's over just like that. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I don't see TNA ever getting up there as an equal to WWE.

TNA's problem is that they have no idea how to use their belts. The title belt is supposed to be used to elevate a feud. They use the belts as props. If you need an example, look no further than Samoa Joe being X Champion again. They could have just started the Joe-Angle feud. But no...they have to do this lame Champions match with freaking Team 3D (who no one wants to see anyway).
I'm just glad they didn't job out Lethal.

If TNA is really growing, fantastic. If they're finally paying off their debts so the company can actually start turning profit, all the better.
I absolutely hate the way their book their shows. In my humble opinion, they're God-awful. So many TNA fans insist it's so much different and better than WWE, but I just don't see it. It's the same tired formula, but with shorter matches squeezed into an hour. Oh, and the ring has six-sides.
But that doesn't mean people won't watch. I never really got into Friends or Seinfield, either, but both those shows did well.
