The wrestling seemed to be pretty good, but uh...two more or less identikit heel turns in one night and Kurt Angle doing a completely heelish action for which he got cheered?
Plus Black Machismo, which is an astoundingly awful gimmick, winning the X-Division title. What the crap?

I watched Abyss/Tomko and KOTM on Daily Motion and both were pretty good.

I didn't enjoy it much either.
Lethal's Horrible Horrible Horrible Elbow Drop had me ready to cry at the end of that great match.

I can't tell if most people in TNA are heel or face.

I can't tell if most people in TNA are heel or face. That's the way I like it. It shouldn't matter.

Lance Hoyt and Kurt Angle Oh ok. Thanks for the info. I didn't think Angle had actually turned though.

I watched Abyss/Tomko and KOTM on Daily Motion and both were pretty good. I thought the complete opposite. Wow. Abyss/Tomko sure was hardocre. Going through CARDBOARD BOXES! Whoah! That spot was just so pointless. It made no sense for them to go up there. That's the difference I have noticed between WWE and TNA. When WWE does a big spot more often than not there is a reason for it in the context of the match. The KOTM I found odd. First off odd in the fact that they had to actually hang the belt up top. I though Chris Harris looked horribly out of place aswell. Also that AJ Styles-Samoa Joe spot on top of the pod thing was again totally pointless. There was no reason for them to get up there. Also I was mystified as to why they didn't have to Refs out there, and why can't TNA do split screen replays. I was looking for these two matches to change my opinion of TNA but they failed miserably.

Lance Hoyt and Kurt Angle Angle didn't turn - Kevin Nash, however, did. I agree about Machismo's elbow drop. It was horrifying. I thought, what the hell, this is the most important move in Macho Man's arsenal.

I was watching the Lethal/Sabin match a little while ago online and yeah it looked bad, more like an armpit drop on Sabin.
The PPV looks alright so far, but I skipped the match with that football guy in it, not worth my time.

It was a decent ppv, good matches, a great crowd instead of the usual impact morrons and the booking did suck for many things but others were ok, Personally I liked Hoyt turning on VKM, He and Kip gave more of a women hating gay couple vibe than the "cool misoginist" crap they were shooting for, maybe this will help Hoyt get somewhat over...

no. it was good
So freaking what if they used cardboard boxes for a crash pad? The only bad thing was that the cover came off. Should the wrestlers be landing on concrete from a 20 foot drop every damn week for your entertainment? They do want to have long carreers you know

They should have had a better cover for the cardboard. Still, it is admirable that they did the fall.
The Black Hole Slam onto the glass was the major moment to me.
I mean, at least Abyss wears a shirt. Tomko took that with an exposed back. Daggone.

I loved the matches - but a few things that made no sense to me
TNA keeps saying that they are the future of professional wrestling, yet in almost every match an older established top star (Sting for exmaple) cleanly defeated someone who could've really used the rub (the Fallen Angel) --how are they going to survive long term if they refuse to put over home grown talent??
the only other thing that I didn't like was Angle winning the belt, I still feel tehy wasted a golden opportunity to put eh tbelt on Samoa Joe
the PPV was excellent butit was a few little things I didn't like

Thats fine to me.
