I actually liked Impact today as a whole but a few little things bothered me and I would like to say what they were.
1) Lack of Nash and Alex S.
2) Announcers use of the term "put over" when talking to B.G. James and their win on Sunday
3) Angle's speech to the locker room talking about opening, wanna-be main eventers and what ever just bothered me like number 2 did.
Thank you for your time.

I agree with your number 2, there. I never like it when wrestlers or commentators use "wrestling lingo." It either sounds like they're trying too hard or breaking kayfabe...or both. It's just weird.

TNA has a habit of using wrestling lingo. I don't really no why.
Let's not forget that Nash said he was making new "gimmicks" for Sonjay and Lethal. Tenay always babbles about people being "put over."
One that sticks out was at the beginning of Steiners/Team 3D where Scott ripped on Brother Ray and Tenay shouted, "How can he do that after Brother Ray put over his career! Put over his legacy!"
I was bothered that Lance Hoyt's tramp stamp seems to be keeping him from ever getting a win.

I don't have a problem with mild wrestling terms being used by the announcers. After all, they're terms that we all use anyway, and they make sense even to a non wrestling fan.
The thing that bothered me on the show was how the belts are just props now. Each belt is supposed to have a unique identity representing a different division of the roster. But instead, they are just bling for Joe.

Isn't Russo a fan of "shoot lingo" anyway?

Isn't Russo a fan of "shoot lingo" anyway? He's a big fan of it. *flashbacks to WCW's dying days*

I was bothered that Lance Hoyt's tramp stamp seems to be keeping him from ever getting a win. I knew I had a fourth thing that I forgot.

Other than my frustration with how TNA's titles are being handled, I thought Impact was pretty decent tonight. Goofy stuff like Angle searching for his clothes can be entertaining every now and then IMO, as long as they don't go overboard with the shtick every week.

See, there's a difference between "going over" (winning a match), and "being put over" (to be shown respect). Many of these so-called "insider wrestling terms" have a full life outside of wrestling, and there's nothing wrong with that particular usage being brought back into wrestling in a kayfabe sort of way.

-I like that Angle is doing the "goofy Kurt" stuff again.
-That Voodoo woman with VKM is by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Seriously.

Wait... are they seriously Voo Doo sorcerers now? They have their own life-sized doll under their control and everything...
But, regardless, Nikki Roxx is in TNA! Woo! And she hit the Barbie Crusher!

Wait a second, there were only little things that bothered you? Maybe TNA really is finally improving, then?

I read on another thread someone didnt like the terms kurt used in the locker room like "mid card" "main eventers" lol those are used in almost every boxing match / ufc / mma / k1 fighting show and production.
