Every photo I've seen of someone holding it or wearing it, dating back to the fifties or sixties or whenever it started, it's looked absolutely dire, especially compared to other titles lik the Big Gold Belt or any of the WWF titles.
It's just square, and ugly, and...like it's a non-shape.

Actually, I like it just because it looks like a straightforward Wrestling Championship.
Granted, the ROH belt is just a belt with a gold plate that says ROH on top of it, but still.

The BGB was the NWA title first. Actually guys, I know what he's saying here, and he's right. I forget exactly when they started using it, but several guys from the '80s who were NWA champion (Flair, Rhodes, Steamboat) carried the big gold belt. He didn't say it was the first NWA title. |
