As much as I'd like to agree with Storm 100%, it's closer to 50%. Lance Storm is one of those guys who is just different from the vast majority of wrestlers. He never used steroids or pain pills, but he also never had a serious injury until he broke his hyoid bone earlier this year, and since he's semi-retired, he was able to take all the time off he wanted. I don't know if he's ever been in the situation that a lot of other wrestlers get in where they're in chronic pain from an injury and also under lots of pressure to not take time off. Does Lance Storm honestly think he's just so much tougher than everyone, or is it maybe that he just got lucky? For him to insinuate that he's tougher than people who took pain pills to wrestle, and that Piper or Hogan or Konnan or Mero or anyone else that's said they needed to take pills to keep wrestling aren't telling the truth is a little ridiculous. How could he possibly know whether they needed them or not? And I also really don't think Mero got his job only because of his body. He had a ton of charisma and while Lance Storm is a better wrestler, Mero used to be able to pull off high flying moves that Storm couldn't even dream of doing.

OK, so FINALLY someone "in the biz" finally talks about the "dead wrestlers list".
I am so sick and tired of seeing guys like Owen Hart, Bruiser Brody, and John Tenta(that one pisses me off the most) on it, and then BS commentators talking about the evils of drugs.

Why do you say that? He was always a heel, and heels rarely do highflying. Ever seen that guy's verticle leap? I'd be surprised if there's anything the guy couldn't do if he wanted to.

I kind of agree with Storm except that I think Mero was indeed a fine worker.

WCW Mero was alright, but after he got roided out in WWE, Sable seemed to be a better worker than him, almost.

I agree with Lance, and I usually just think he's a blow-hard.

I agree with Lance, and I usually just think he's a blow-hard. Same. There's pressure to do steroids for guys who suck in the ring and on the mic. In which case I would suggest finding a different line of work.
