whoa.. that match ending was god awful. it ended like most diva matches; no psychology needed. poor Nigel messed up that rebound lariat, i think. pretty cool to see, though i wish this could happen in an indie environment where wrestlers actually get enough time to put on an actual match.

Man, Elijah looks much better in ring shorts.
Does Nigel always come out to that song? I don't know much about him yet.

According to OWW he had two matches in OVW: August 31, 2005--OVW TV Taping: Elijah Burke defeated Nigel McGuinness.. September 7, 2005--OVW: Deuce Shade & Elijah Burke & Seth Skyfire defeated C.M. Punk & Paul Birchall & Nigel McGuiness and one match on WWE TV: September 5, 2005 - RAW: Danny Basham defeated Nigel McGuinness in a match taped for HEAT. Also one TNA match: November 13, 2005 - TNA Genesis: Shark Boy defeated Nigel McGuinness (debut) in a Pre-show match. and there is this from Gerweck- WWE apparently had mild interest in Nigel McGuiness, but later learned he was signed to a Ring of Honor contract.

In a feud, someone should call him Nigel Thornberry.

He wasn't developmental, OVW still serves as an indy fed so he was just picking up a paycheck and probably wanted to go there so the WWE would see him, his two favorite wrestlers are Finlay and Regal, so it's no shocker he'd want to get signed.

Birchall reminds me so much of a young Triple H.
