There ya go It is just a super frankensteiner What would really be super is if Steiner could pull off a regular one. \\ Ya, back in the day Scott didn't need an assist from the cage or ropes to pull off an awesome looking Frankensteiner. What I always loved about his was that it looked effective. He would jump-up and wrap his knees tightly around the victim's head, making it look real. Your typical hurricanrana shows blatant assistance from the victim, making it very difficult to suspend disbelief.

To me it is a huricarana. The Frankensteiner was sold like a DDT. That is what I use as a distinction.

God I absolutely hate TNA commentary, that video just encapsulated it. "I'm not gonna call it a huracanrana, forget you. That's a frankensteiner, MY GOD!!" I'm not a fan of TNA commentary, either, but I'm pretty sure that was a reference to when Steiner, in WCW, would get pissed and threaten people for calling a huracanrana a huracanrana instead of calling it a Frankensteiner. For some reason I seem to remember Steiner, possibly on commentary, during a lucha match and getting pissed when one of the announcers called the move a huracanrana and not a Frankensteiner.

Everyone's getting all technical. To me, a frankensteiner is any move in which Big Poppa Pump grabs someone with his legs and flips them over regardless of circumstance. I know there was a certain way they used to set it up for him to hit it but has he ever done a different style one and had it called differently?

Meh, like most of the other people, I just think its a Frankensteiner when Scott does it. Thats cool cause hurricanrana is a way better name anyway...

Frankensteiner = Hurricana done by Steiner RKO = Ace Crusher done by Randy Orton I rest my case. Steinerline = Clothesline by Rick Steiner?
