Dustin Rhodes was a World Tag Team Champion so he technically fits the bill. Don't forget, all of WWE's titles are world titles. All legitimate world championships considered, Dustin Rhodes is at least a 15-time world champion. But wasn't he already in TNA? So that wouldn't be much of a debut. And I may not follow TNA much, but, if I'm reading correctly, he was at Victory Road and, subsequently, on Impact. So that REALLY wouldn't be much of a debut. The Intercontinental Title has never been called a World Title. I do realize however he was a World Tag Team Champion with Booker T You are correct Dustin Rhodes was indeed at Victory Road and on Impact. My comment was purely in defense of someone else saying that he had never won a World Title.

Since this said "debut", the only world champs free and clear to realistically debut in TNA are...
Sid Vicious Bret Hart Goldberg RVD Warrior Big Show Brock Lesnar Chris Jericho Sabu
Macho Man, DDP, Vader, Race, Muta, Luger, Whipwreck, Corino, and Shamrock have already been in TNA (I believe).
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Superstar Billy Graham in a mentor/goodwill embassador role like they've done in the past with Piper. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if the Superstar showed up and cut a promo putting over Big Poppa Pump fresh off his face turn.
Whomever it is, it couldn't be a big deal as far as regular in-ring talent or they would've leaked "an announcement" to more people then their mobile subscribers...as was the case when Angle and Christian came...and both debuted on PPV.
And Pacman Jones is only a world champ at getting suspended.

The Intercontinental Title has never been called a World Title. Right. It's called the "intercontinental" title. Between continents. We're not talking about what's just "called" a world title. By definition, a championship only has to be defended overseas once to qualify as a world title.

I hope it's Sid, there were rumours of him coming back to WWE not long ago so I'm guessing he's in shape and it'd be great to see him again.

First, Sabu has already been in TNA. Second, it could be another women for the new women's division or someone from Japan or Mexico since they never said anything about it being a man.

Except for Hacksaw Jon Doogan, you're all wrong! It's the Ultimate Warrior.
