CLEVELAND – For the first time ever – and with his Last Man Standing Match with Randy Orton at No Mercy less than a week away – WWE Champion John Cena will battle Mr. Kennedy tonight on Raw. Cena is taking on a dangerous and driven opponent before his showdown with Orton at No Mercy. Mr. Kennedy, who lost his Money in the Bank championship opportunity to Edge and was injured for months before emerging on Raw, may believe he has something to prove. The loudmouth from Green Bay, Wis., has made no secret of his championship ambition and believes he is the future of WWE. Kennedy has proven that he can be lethal when he wants to prove a point. He put Bobby Lashley out with a shoulder injury in late July, and we haven’t seen the former ECW Champion since. Is Cena making a mistake taking on Mr. Kennedy with his Last Man Standing Match just six days away? Tune in to Raw tonight at 9/8 CT on USA Network and find out. Yay.

If they don't follow through with 'save_us.222', I'll probably be finished with WWE for a while.
The whole product is just terrible right now, but that one video has kept my interest going.
This will be the first time in my twelve or so years as a wrestling fan, too.

You saw the sign from the Peoria house show this weekend, right? It clearly stated that something related to SAVE US.222 would happen on Oct. 7th.

From WWE.com. No Orton tonight eitherInside sources have informed WWE.com that Randy Orton will not be at Raw for the second week in a row. Rumor has it that the Legend Killer has fled to Chicago, the site of Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view, and has contacted a local TV station to conduct an interview that will air live on tonight’s show. One source at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland said when the news broke that Orton wouldn’t be there, people immediately came to one conclusion – the Legend Killer is running scared. “Randy Orton isn’t stupid; he knows that Cena is willing to do whatever it takes to get back at him for what he’s done,” said one source. “Staying out of Cena’s reach means Orton will avoid a fight before Sunday – which is basically a guarantee if the two are in the same vicinity.” With Orton refusing to return any phone calls from WWE.com, his interview tonight will hopefully shed some light on what has become the hot topic before tonight’s Raw. Also on Raw ----------- After teaming with Carlito to defeat Triple H in a Handicap Steel Cage Match last week, Mr. McMahon felt a little cocky… maybe a little too cocky. He said he had The Game’s number. Tonight on Raw, our fans will find out whether the Chairman really has game when he takes on The Cerebral Assassin one-on-one. (WATCH) These two uncontrollable freight trains will bear down on each other, fueled by years of pent up rage and animosity. The match will punctuate several weeks of Triple H serving up just desserts to the Chairman by humiliating him over his illegitimate son, Hornswoggle. Is Triple H’s hatred for the Chairman taking him out of his game? Or will he make Mr. McMahon pay for his bravado? In tag team action last week, The Highlanders showed that their patience has worn incredibly thin over their lack of championship opportunities. The unpredictable Scottish cousins assailed Paul London & Brian Kendrick just as the duo were positioned to score the pinfall over World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch. The surprise attack was an effort to torpedo their chances at another title match. Will The Highlanders naked ambition continue to make trouble for London & Kendrick on their quest for the gold? Can the high-flyers handle any other surprises the Scots have hidden up their kilts? The only way to find out is to tune in to Raw at 9/8CT on USA Network.

I'll be paying more attention to this thread than the show. The football game should be good tonight. I haven't been able to say that about Raw in a long time.
Thats why I keep up with these topics. If something cool happens, they'll replay it again 10 times before the show is over anyway. I wont miss anything.

Either this is a SWERVE or WWE's continuity editor is out to lunch again

A bunch of returns tonight.
The suspension is over.
So it's obvious how the HHH/Vinnie match is gonna end.

Well, I've been pretty upset with the product for a while due to the atrocious writing and I feel like it's insulting my intelligence. It's just not doing anything for me anymore. Then I saw 'save_us.222' last week, and I thought it was awesome. I know it's been done before in other fields, but this is pretty original in WWE and I liked what they were doing with it (not talking about it and putting the hidden links on WWE.com). I'll see where this goes first, and if it goes nowhere, I don't think I'll watch for a while. The product just isn't doing anything for me.

Who cares about Kennedy and Umaga returning when Charlie Haas will be back in the house?! Hell yeah! Since he did a punishment job on the way out does that mean he gets a "Welcome back win" tonight? Please?
