The only problem I had with the FWA was its general image. It had this horrible Robot Wars style commentary and all the wrestlers looked like left over members of the so solid crew.

Yeah, I can see that - I still think that the TV show was part of their downfall, as it came out as the company was cooling off, and was just... bad. They didn't fold so much as it stopped being worth them running down south, so they very sportingly gave the rub to IPW:UK by having them put the company out of business, and now run solely in Morecambe (as far as I know) as XWA.

Jonathan Pearce could do commentary on SmackDown!. "OOOHHHHHHH! The Unertaker chokslams him INTO THE PIT OF OBLIVION!!!"

Pearce was the commentator on Robot Wars.
A very enthusiastic fella, if I don't say so myself.
He does commentary for the BBC now, on Match of the Day.

Yeah they've been selling out shows in Morecambe for a while now, to the tune of 450 per show apparently. (This is all Power Slam info by the way.)

Billi is in IPW:UK - was a Billi match featured on RQW TV or something? I'll say this for him... he's unconvincing size wise, but what he's learnt to do in the ring he does very well - that essentially amounts to a superkick and an RKO, but he's clearly got athletic ability in that skinny frame of his.

They showed a Billi match on the last Big Brother show of the series. Apparently outside of the ring, he's porked four of the girls.
He could be an interesting acquisition if he puts the work in.

Yeah, he's apparently had four of them... I know this because in an awesome heel move, when we got back from the interval at the last IPW:UK show, photocopies of the News of the Screw article on this were on every chair!

Natural heel charisma in spades. He beat Spud in IPW:UK and looked like a natural. On another note, which four??

Erm... Chanelle, Shabnam... erm... Amy? And another one? I'm going from memory of the newspaper report, as I've never seen the show.

Was Emily the big racist? Yep that's the one. Hottie though. So old Billi did pretty well for himself...

Yeah, she was hot. A hot idiot.
It was funny - he was holding up a very airbrushed portrait of himself, and my friend Ben started a "Michael Jackson" chant!
