...give Jeff Hardy a chance at main-eventing?
Pros: Never really been the the main event scene so he's "fresh", has been consistently over with the fans for 7 years, can put on a good match, doesn't seem to be a gashead.
Cons: Well-documented problems with personal demons, known to no-show/show up late.
Thoughts? I say go for it, at least it'll be someone new and over in the mix.

If he gets a good feud going over the IC title, and Randy's title reign continues to suck, I don't see why a Hardy match couldn't be the centerpiece of an upcoming Monday night. (Not a pay-per-view, though.)
There are some very good midcard heels on the red show lined up to feud with popular babyface Hardy. Kennedy, Carlito, Benjamin. All of them could give him great matches. If Hardy began seriously feuding with one of them and the feud caught fire, then why not?
I'd be all for it.

His match with the Undertaker for the main title on RAW for the undisputed title showed he can do it if motivated.

Has his reign even really begun yet? He hasn't even made a defence. (Since his 2nd win)

Has his reign even really begun yet? He hasn't even made a defence. (Since his 2nd win) Randy's reign hasn't even started yet so there is no way this his reign can CONTINUE to suck. Now if his reign does suck then the belt will be going to The Game.

I would say they don't trust him enough to slingshot him into the main event, but it didn't stop Orton.

maybe....there aren't many top faces on raw who are healthy
HHH, HBK, and Jeff Hardy are the top 3 who are cleared to wrestle

That possibly could beat out Eddie & Benoit at WM 20 if at the end of WM 24 Both the Hardys celebrate thier world title wins in the ring together.

It would be shocking to see either Hardy as World Champion

His match with the Undertaker for the main title on RAW for the undisputed title showed he can do it if motivated. That was one of the few times this decade I thought they might actually go through with an upset champion. It seems like these days, you have to be a former champ to hold the belt.

Call me a crazy, stupid mark, but Jeff DID just win a MAIN EVENT match on Raw.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I don't see it happening. Maybe the occasional Raw main event, even title shot, but not on PPV (aka Cyber Sunday...)

If I KNEW that his head was right, I'd be all for it Ditto. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt to give it a try with the roster being as thin as it is.
