Drawing on a previous character, Nailz, and not unlike the nutcase Woody Harrelson played in the movie Natural Born Killers, a series of vignettes begins...
For several weeks we see the silhouette of a crazed inmate pacing back and forth in his cell, vowing revenge on the McMahons for keeping him locked up. His beautiful girlfriend (pick a diva) crying behind the glass during visits "When are you coming home?" After a few weeks of buildup they start to bring him to ringside in a cage, nervous guards standing by with Tasers and nightsticks at the ready. Every Monday night we see him raging uncontrollably and we know he's gonna break loose soon and thrash the first family of wrestling. That cage looks like it might break at any time, Oh Sh**!
Backstage segments show Vince and Shane very, very worried, they know he will be the demise of the McMahon empire if they fail to stop him...
Shane-O-Mac goes into training as he knows he must defend the family honor. If he cannot stop this madman, who will? And he debuts at Unforgiven PPV with great impact, several broken bodies riding out on stretchers.
The mind boggles: -- Who will play the parts of the convicted felon and his long-suffering girlfriend?? -- What was his crime, and will he get to commit it again? -- Which faces will try to stop him once he disposes of the McMahons?
Discuss...

So they just decide to bring a homicidal felon to ringside in a cage. Meanwhile they ban a vengeful John Cena from the arena, and they have "Homicidal monsters" Snitsky and Kane running loose uncaged on both RAW and SD

And then finally, in the epic moment when he is released from the cage to do battle...HHH beats him cleanly in 5 minutes.

Remember that guy who accepted the Masterlock challenge on SD! That would be a good friend of mine, and a guy i managed on the indy scene for some time Jason Bane. Only problem is he was already offered a contract and turned it down.

Hell, let it be Randy Savage. Anything to get him back on my TV one last time, and if anyone can play crazy and dangerous, its him.
Or Sycho Sid if they are still interested in him.

I like it.
I think Johnny Stamboli could pull it off, since they want to bring him back anyway.

When I read this the title of this topic, I immediately got the image of Nailz. I guess we can go with New Jack.

i don't care much for this idea, but it's more thought and booking than anyone in the wwe has done in many years.

A prisoner gimmick could work but I wouldn't tie it to the McMahon family.

Except for the girlfriend, this sounds a lot like Nathan Jones's vignettes.
Maybe an interesting twist on the character could be that he is really trying to go straight and be a productive member of society, but can't escape labelling from the other superstars.
And maybe instead of vignettes, he could just show up one week and announce to someone backstage that he's a criminal and he needs their signature on a form before he can compete (do they only do those for sex offenders or do other felons need those?). Take it one step further and have some of the heels demand favors from him in return for their signature. Build up the sympathy factor a little more.
