Ah, HCTP. What an okay game you were. Still the best we've had so far of your family of games.
The great gameplay, the weapons that don't magically disappear, the roster, all made for a fantastic game.
But I think the strongpoint a lot of people overlook is the game's awesome soundtrack.
Featuring songs with such powerful lyrics as:
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Doesn't that really just drive it home? All right, it's time for some wrestling, what could possibly get me in the mood, oh, I know, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!", there we go.
And who could forget:
"BLAAARGHHHH! HURH!! HUH! HURGHH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
These words, put to music, really illustrate wrestling and the act of playing a wrestling video game best. I couldn't have said it better myself.
Thank you, anonymous guy who composed the music for this game, and thank YOU, anonymous guy who yelled a lot over the track.
Without you, our game...probably would have had a lot of crap about heat hawmping or something in it.

The first SD vs. RAW also had gems such as "GEDDUP GEDDUP! MY ASS IS ON FIRE!" Heh, I kind of liked that song. SD/RAW 1 had the least offensive of the soundtracks of um..SD v. RAW.

Yeah... those songs were pretty generic and started to get annoying quite soon, but when the game first came out they were a pretty nice change from the "RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" and "BLÖAREGASHASGAHAGAHHH" of HCTP which may or may not have had The Great Khali doing vocal duties on the soundtrack.

So THAT's what Khali used to do...

I vaguely remember a song from one of the games that went like this: "When my feet stomp, when my beat thwomp, when my feet stomp, yo I don't want more" That's probably the most infamous SVR2006 song. Also, you're doing it slightly wrong, as the proper way to type it out is... "FEET THWAMP HEET HAWMP STREET STAWMP YA DON'T WANT WAR" ;D

One of the earlier Smackdown games had some generic rap song where the rapper would occasionally shout "KRISPY KREME!" for no apparent reason.

I loved all the stock music for CAWS in No Mercy. It was all...terrible!
I have Stevie Richards in his current attire (sort of, best I could do with the in game stuff), doing a "tuffguy" gimmick because the only decent Stevieish music I could find for him was some honky tonk ass generic rock track that literally sounds like generic badboy music you'd hear if you were some dude walking in to a bar in a leather jacket.
