I remember when he was *this* close to being a legit contender for the belt.....But HHH couldn't have any of that

I'm sorry, I absolutely love Jeff Hardy, but I cannot take that voice seriously
"Like, dude, I so totally deserve that title!"

Ya know i'm not a Jeff fan but I could see him as WWE Champ, and i'd be quite happy with it after watching this video.

Dear WWE, Please refrain from using any more Nu-Metal songs for intro music, PPVs or any other videos whatsoever. 1999 was eight f***ing years ago. From WWE fans the world over.

I don't know about what you guys think, but I'd like to see them do more video packages like this. They remind me a lot of the old 'WWF Desire' videos that were shown a few years back.
It just makes the particular wrestler seem that much more important and unique. I feel that it builds their character more.
Plus, it's better to have something like this, rather than a useless skit.

Personally I hated the "Desire" videos. Any video that uses Creed is automatically a dud (except for the Eddie DVD of course, but I normally stop the video before the highlights package). You bring up the point of it being better than a useless skit. You know what would work better than a useless ski or a friggin' video package? A WRESTLING MATCH!

Showing a well-produced video package would make more people watch than a long, drawn out match would. Same as a match with wrestlers that the fans just don't care about. Face it, having loads of matches on television isn't going to get the viewer's attention. Having longer matches is what pay-per-view is for. Television is all about hyping the matches and characters for the next PPV, so they can achieve the highest buyrate possible. This is all done through storylines, which culminate at the next PPV (in theory, anyway). Matches on television just advance storylines when needed. Using such video packages like this Jeff Hardy one is something that I miss. It makes me actually care about that character.

If they really want to get someone over. They need to get MEan Gene to do interviews again. They guy could sell a fued or a wrestler extremely well IMO

I loved this video and I love the Desire videos.
I did laugh though when Jeff on top of some platform with the camera behind him and I saw a PORK sign.

I've always been a fan of the Desire videos and especially this video with Jeff. It was a perfect song choice for him and when I saw it when I went to Raw a couple weeks ago I loved it too. I'm just surprised they aired it on TV and not just in the arena.
I take Jeff Hardy seriously and he's one of my favorite wrestlers and all, but I really just can't get over his voice. Makes me giggle every time.

I liked it as well and thought it was a cool song and it fit Jeff Hardy he should use this one as his theme music for once

I couldn't stop thinking how awfully cheesy it was.
His voice just turns me off on the idea of him being champion.

It has to be said, who in WWE has started listening to decent bands all of a sudden? I mean, Lostprophets for the Hardy video, Kasabian (mark the f*** out!!!) doing the Cyber Sunday theme, and now The Hives doing the Survivor Series theme?

honestly i would love to see Jeff Hardy in the main event picture. Not winning it, but being there. Then winning it at a PPV along the way with Matt Hardy winning the other title at the same PPV and them celebrating Guerrero/Benoit
