Let's say that Triple H and Shawn Michaels left WWE tomorrow (whether this would be the result of a failed coup, frustration with Vince, financial reasons, losing to someone they don't like, ect doesn't matter) and they NEVER returned. Extremely unlikely, I know, but what would WWE do? Furthermore, what would Shawn and Hunter do?
Which stars would WWE try to push as main eventers? How many stars would they call up from developmental? Would they bring in old stars like Austin, Rock, and Hogan? Would Stephanie walk out with her husband? If Shawn and Hunter went to TNA, what would be the result?

Jamie Noble and Stevie Richards would play their parts, even keeping the same names And that works out nicely for everyone.

Extremely unlikely, I know, but what would WWE do? Short answer, suck. Long answer, suck worse. Based on who's healthy right now I'd see the first thing would be an Orton vs Umaga feud. Maybe (more like definently) more Vince. Long term they've got Cena and Lashley to look foreward to returning, maybe until then bring in Khali or Batista over from SD.

Jericho's return would definitely be rushed. He'd also have to be the number one babyface on Raw.

Hornswoggle, Boogeyman, and Khali would be the only active members of DX.

Would Stephanie walk out with her husband? If Shawn and Hunter went to TNA, what would be the result? WWE would push Cena and Orton and probably other talent like both Hardys, Edge, etc. Stephanie would be or soon to be divorced from Jean-Paul Levesque (which would be his new old name) and if they went to TNA, which is VERY doubtful, there would be the following possibilities: 1.) They would get pushed to the moon, shooting constantly at WWE, result would be: death of TNA, thank you Russo... 2.) They would job to Joe and/or Jarrett repeatedly 3.) They would unite with Hall and Nash and form a nWo-like stable. Would smell like yet another rip-off, but could be fun for a short time All in all: if that ever happens I will suck Cartman's balls.

Neon Green glowstick sales would decline sharply? Do you really want to put all the miners who dig up those chemicals out of work?

Remember the ending of 40 Year Old Virgin?
It'd be like that. Every night on WWE programming. For a year.

If both Hunter and Shawn left tomorrow, the first thing they would do is end the split. There is no way Raw would survive with just Orton and Jericho as main-eventers.
Then they wouldn't be mentioned for ten years.

Everyone would have to job to Cena, instead of Cena and HHH.

Batista loses the belt on smackdown. Ends up on raw getting even more title shots.

Well they were both gone for a bit and it wasn't really any different. Long term I think they'd more actively push a few people that they haven't tried in the main event slot yet, since they wouldn't have the "crutch" of using hbk or hhh in title shots when they don't have anything better.
