It may have got people pissed, but it's not like the way it would sell out a building or anything. Hardly money. Flair's still over, the problem was they didn't make his match a big deal like they would when Hogan would wrestle. They had him in feuds that no one gave a crap about like the one with Kenny and Carlito.

I guarentee though if you put Flair in a main event PPV against Orton Edge or just about any top heel it would sell. Flairs name is money and have been for sometime. Prime example look at the TLC match from Raw with Edge and Flair, he had the fans in the palm of his hand, the emotions of the fans were real because it was everyone likes to see a good comeback story. You think Edge is the reason that match got the response it did, no it's not, not taking anything away from the man, but Flair gave it that big match feel.

I thought Falir/Carlito might have worked if they had made it a serious feud and not filler matches. But putting a guy as old as Flair is on a regular WWE schedule is a recipe for disaster.

I think Flair has one more good run left in him, and by run I mean program. He still has the ability to draw in a audience and make them care about what's going on in the ring. I really thought he could have had a good program with John Cena, but other than that no one comes to mind as someone he could have a nice fued with.

Flair would steal the show...and then hock it for money....Cause he's broke. Both physically and financially.
But that doesn't stop me from cheering for him.
Woooooo!!

Seems to me he's under Vinces thumb but tries to battle out but knows ultimately - he's got to big a debt to pay off to burn a bridge.

Ric isn't physically capable of stealing the show anymore.

Ric isn't physically capable of stealing the show anymore. Too true. The only guy from that age who probably has a classic left in him might be Lawler, if he had an opponent that could work well with him. He's in decent enough shape and he knows his psychology. Kennedy, maybe?
